I quickly wiped my face and sat upright at the sound of my door creaking open. I was not expecting Wrenn back so soon, and I did not want her to see me crying. She would start asking too many questions, and I wasn't ready for that. After I had wiped my face as best as I could, I turned around to ask if she was done with her work for today only to be shocked by the sight of Leilana standing at the door.
"Leilana.." I muttered. "Hey." I tried to make my voice bright and cheery so she would not suspect anything.
"What are you doing here? If it's about work, I finished all of mine for today. I know I'm not supposed to come back to the quarters before the day is over but I just needed to get some rest. I know I shouldn't have–"
