I fell into the soft queen-sized bed in the chamber that had been prepared for me by the servants, exhaling in relief. The room was bigger than any I had ever been in. Nearly everything was gold-plated in this luxurious room. The walk-in closet was stocked with clothes and shoes already. It felt like heaven.
I laughed happily, thinking back to a few hours ago at the ball. I had been nervous to say the least. But as soon as I saw the wide smile form on Alpha Valen's face, I knew it had worked. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. It was settled. I was the future Luna of the Blackwolve pack.
