Kayla POV. Howard caught me stealing his vervain. For this, he not only took away my daylight ring but also imprisoned me here. I lay in my room for hours in chagrin, mourning for my lost freedom. It wasn't until midnight came and the moonlight poured through the window on my sheets that I realized the flaw in the matter.
