Howard caught me stealing his vervain.
For this, he not only took away my daylight ring but also imprisoned me here.
I lay in my room for hours in chagrin, mourning for my lost freedom.
It wasn't until midnight came and the moonlight poured through the window on my sheets that I realized the flaw in the matter.
Howard had only taken away my daylight ring, but now it was night, and I could come and go without it.
I felt a little happy about Howard's blunder when there's a loud noise from the living room.
"BOOM!!!"
It seemed that something had fallen to the floor.
I immediately rushed downstairs to check the situation. I was surprised to find that the room's door had collapsed and had smashed a large crater on the wooden floor.
