“Brother? Are you friends with the prince?” Kelsey asked as she stretched out her arms trying to get the man to pick her up. After several tries she gave up on the idea.
Ethan knelt down instead so he can speak with the little girl. “Yes, we’re very close friends.” He smiled endearingly.
“That’s awesome!” Kelsey jumped up and down from joy. “When mommy sees the prince she’ll be very happy! She says you’re lonely…” The little girl didn’t fully understand the meaning of the word lonely but all she knew was that it made the man feel bad.
“Where did you learn such big words? Brother isn’t lonely at all…” Ethan said as he smiled at the girl.
