*Eloise’s POV* An hour. I had been waiting a whole hour outside the headmaster's office now. As soon as we got to the school's entrance Caleb had placed me on the ground once more. The doorway had been too low for him to carry me through without doing one or the other of us any damage. The headteacher had strode on ahead of us with Bradley, Carly, Claire and Mr Hughes not far behind. Erin had brought up the rear, giving Caleb and myself a wide berth and keeping her head down. I had watched her walk in front of us, a dark muddy stain on the seat of her skirt from when she had landed on the ground after I pushed her over. I sniggered to myself childishly remembering it. Erin, who was sat on the chair opposite me outside the office, glared at me as if she knew I was laughing at her. Caleb's large hand had hovered at the small of my back, close to touching but not quite, I had felt the heat radiating from it though, even through my clothes. That man was like a walking furnace. He had guided me through the door and along the corridor, ordering me to walk with him, the tone of his voice leaving no room for discussion. Once we got to the office he had ordered me to sit and I obeyed, taking the chair furthest away from everyone else. Caleb and the headteacher had then gone into the office, the door barely missing Mr Hughes face as he attempted to enter the room behind them. The look on his face had been priceless and I had quickly put my head down and hand over my mouth to stop myself laughing. He had looked furious and had almost dragged Carly out after him, insisting they were going to A&E to have her nose checked. This left Erin, Claire, Bradley and myself sitting there, awkwardly together. Erin and Claire had been whispering conspiratorially to each other, casting sly glances at me every now and again. Bradley had attempted to move to sit in the seat next to me but I had just moved to another chair. He had spent most of the last hour looking at me as if he was seeing me in a different light, an expression of puzzled curiosity evident on his face. I sighed heavily. What were they doing in there!? I had better things to do than waiting around here doing nothing. “Namely redoing my art coursework”, I thought bitterly. Just as I was about to get up and leave I heard the click of the office door as it was opened, and we all sat up straighter at the sound, ready to be called in to explain ourselves. “Finally!” I thought. “Time to get this over and done with.” The headteacher stood in the doorway, a serious expression on his gaunt face. He was a tall, slim man that was probably in his early 50s. He had salt and pepper grey hair and an old fashioned looking moustache and he always dressed smartly; pinstripe suit, tie, waistcoat, the works! With his style, he wouldn’t have looked out of place in the Victorian era. “You two girls!” He said, looking at Erin and Claire coldly. “Back to class. We will discuss your behaviour later.” They both nodded, looking relieved. “ Yes, Sir.” They said in unison, getting up and leaving quickly as if they feared he would change his mind. My shoulders slumped in defeat, he would dismiss Bradley next. I guess this meant I would be the one taking all the blame then. Great! “Bradley. Eloise.” Can you come here please?” “Bit odd.” I thought, frowning. “Why would he want the two of us and not Erin and Claire.” Bradley didn’t seem concerned or surprised at all. He stood up and swiftly strode into the office with an air of confidence I was slightly envious of. “Eloise?” He repeated, noting that I hadn’t moved from my seat yet. I let out a heavy sigh and slowly stood up, resigning myself to being the scapegoat yet again. Hopefully, they hadn’t called my father, although he was likely to be passed out drunk by now. “We just have a few questions”, the headteacher murmured to me as I passed him, “Don’t worry, just be honest, OK?” He placed a comforting hand lightly on my shoulder as he closed the door behind us, guiding me into the room. I heard a low grumble, almost like a growl and the headmaster swiftly removed his hand from me as if he had been burnt. He looked uncharacteristically flustered and had placed a considerable amount of distance between us in an impossibly short amount of time. I gave him a puzzled look a bit confused by his behaviour, but he didn’t so much as cast a glance at me, eyes lowered, he went to his desk and sat down behind it as if it would protect him from some unseen threat. This day was just getting weirder, what was going on with these people. “Ms Wilson, if you could take a seat next to Mr Hanlon please, he has some matters he would like to discuss with you.” The headteacher said, eyes still cast down, he looked terrified. Had Caleb threatened him? I knew he had a reputation but why was he getting so involved in some school girl fight? I quickly scanned the room, it was fairly large and looked like it had been decorated by the same person who provided the decor for those old fashioned gentleman’s clubs. You know the type, the ones that had a ‘No women allowed’ rule, with a bunch of elderly rich fat men sat around smoking pipes and reading newspapers in silence, whilst they all claimed how difficult life was when you were so wealthy and privileged. Urgh! The walls were all panelled dark wood, with some floor to ceiling bookcases, jam-packed with various educational pieces of literature. The headteacher's desk was a large mahogany monstrosity, the surface immaculate, a neat pile of papers stacked to one side, he even had an old fashioned nib pen with a pot of ink. His certificates were proudly displayed on the wall behind him, whilst he sat cowering below in a large leather-backed chair, casting furtive glances towards the window. The window was tall and looked out towards the forest, but the view was currently significantly blocked. Caleb was stood there, hands behind his back in an almost military pose, it emphasised how broad his chest was, his shirt pulled tightly across it. He had rolled his sleeves up showing off tanned muscular arms. This man oozed s*x appeal, in a dark, terrifying and utterly intimidating way. Turning me on like no one else ever had before, it was unexpected and confusing, and I wasn’t sure how to act around him. Bradley was sat on the chair in the corner, staying unusually quiet, eyes cast down. The remaining chair was right next to Caleb, within touching distance, I was immediately drawn to him and took a few hesitant steps towards him before my brain kicked into gear. “I’m ok standing Sir,” I said to the headteacher but my eyes still remained on Caleb, fixated, I felt unable to look away. I saw the headmaster flinch slightly out of the corner of my eye, his head turning towards Caleb as if to see his reaction. “Sit down Eloise, please.” It almost sounded like he was pleading, I started to feel a little sorry for him. “She can stand if she wishes,” Caleb said smoothly, looking down at me. The light from the window behind him was shining in my eyes, making him appear shrouded in shadows. “It’s ok,” I said as I cautiously made my way towards the chair beside him, sitting on the edge so I was as far away from him as I could go without falling off. “I’ve been sitting for the last hour, a little longer won’t hurt.” “So...” Caleb started. “I have a few questions for you.” “About the fight?” I interrupted. He just shook his head in a dismissive manner. “I don’t care about that. I’m pretty sure that girl got what she deserved,” he looked at me sharply, grey eyes gleaming, “you have an impressive right hook.” “Thanks?” I said casting an anxious glance towards the headteacher again but he completely avoided eye contact with me. “If it’s not about the fight, what is it? Why does Bradley need to be here?” “We will get to him later. I want to know a little more about you.” “Ok?” I replied, drawing out each letter, wondering why on earth he would want to know more about me. I wasn’t particularly interesting. “Greg has already run through a few details with me,” he said nodding in the direction of the headteacher. “Your full name is Eloise Wilson, you just turned 18, you live alone with your father..is this correct?” “...yes” I answered cautiously, “..and your mother?” He continued. “Why would you need to know about my mother?” I asked immediately going on the defensive. He looked at me intently as if he was trying to read the answer from the look on my face. “Why would you not want to tell me about her?” “...maybe it’s personal and none of your business!” I said, seething. “Oh, I think it is.” He said, throwing me off guard. In the blink of an eye, he was knelt down directly in front of me, gripping the arms of my chair and trapping me in my seat. I jumped back in the chair surprised at his speed and his closeness. “...what the...how did you move so fast?” I asked placing my hand over my racing heart as if that would slow it down. “Why have you and your father not made yourself known to me? You’ve been living in my territory years now, unauthorised.” He continued, ignoring my last comment. “...what?” I stuttered. “I don’t know what you mean? We’ve always lived here, why would we need to tell you....” “Don’t play coy with me.” He interrupted. “You know what I’m talking about.” I really didn’t though, was this some kind of weird power play? I don’t know what he thought he would gain by terrifying a teenage girl though. I looked desperately around but it didn’t look like I would be getting any help from Greg or Bradley. Bradley had leaned forwards in interest, his elbows resting on his knees and his chin propped up by his hands. Neither of them looked particularly surprised by Caleb’s reaction. “Which pack did you come from?” He continued looking deeply into my eyes, I stared right back at him, challenging him. He was starting to piss me off. “What the hell are you on about?” I said through gritted teeth. “Is this another term for gangs? Are you assuming that because I’m poor I’m obviously up to no good? “I honestly don’t think she has a clue Alpha”, Greg finally piped up. “I can’t sense anything about her, Bradley can you?” “Nothing,” he said leaning back in his chair. “Maybe if I got closer to her I’d be able to pick up on it?” “Don’t even think about it.” Caleb practically growled at him. Bradley just shrugged, he caught my eye and winked at me. They had completely lost me now, I hadn’t got a clue what was going on, I looked blankly at all three of them hoping one of them would let me in on whatever the hell was going on. Caleb still had me trapped in the chair, he just knelt there looking at me intently before lunging forwards taking me by surprise. I flinched back afraid he was going to hurt me but he ducked his head towards my neck, running his nose from below my ear and down along my neck, inhaling deeply. His hair softly brushing against my neck and face and the scent of him overwhelming, I squirmed awkwardly beneath him and much to my embarrassment let out a soft moan. He let out a guttural groan, which went straight to my p***y, my knickers were soaked within seconds. He brought his face to mine, eyes so dark they looked almost as black as his hair, his nostrils flared as if he could smell my arousal, his mouth curling upwards into a wicked grin. “f*****g hell” Bradley gasped as if he too could sense what happened. “How did you do that to her?” “Good Goddess” Greg gasped in surprise. “I knew it” Caleb whispered to me. “What did you do?” I gasped, confused and scared by my reaction to him, I could feel myself getting tearful. I pushed at him trying to get away but it was about as effective as me trying to move a mountain. “What’s wrong with your eyes?” He moved away on his own volition, looking far too pleased with himself. “What did I do to you, Eloise?” I stood up and glared at him not wanting to admit to whatever had just happened. “Sit back down, Eloise,” Caleb said calmly. “I don’t think so”, I replied angrily, I stormed towards the exit but I found Bradley at the door. How had he managed to get there so quickly? He had been at the far side of the room, it was impossible. “Get out of my way!” I shouted at him. “How did I not notice before.” He mused quietly to himself, eyes roaming all over my body as if seeing me in a new light. “Notice what?” I asked in exasperation. “What is wrong with you all! Move out of the way, I want to leave. Now!” I was starting to feel a bit panicked now, I was trapped in a room with 3 adult men and at least 2 of them were looking at me with an ominous hunger in their eyes. “She really has no idea..”Caleb said quietly, before directing his attention to my headteacher. “Greg, you may need to help us out here. We need more time to figure out how she got here.” Greg rummaged through one of his desk drawers and held up a small vial of pale blue powder to the light. “If she is what I think she is” he mused out loud. “This should work.” “What’s going on? What are you going to do to me?!” I shrieked, frantically looking around trying to find an escape route, but there was nowhere to go. Bradley blocked the only door and Caleb was still in front of the window, I looked at him, my white blue eyes wide with terror, meeting his stormy grey ones which looked surprisingly sympathetic. “Shhh,” He soothed. “It’s ok, this won’t hurt. You’re going to feel a whole lot better, I promise.” “No! Don’t you touch me, any of you! Getaway.” I said loudly, backing away. Greg was advancing towards me now and I decided to take my chances and get past Bradley to the door, but he was too fast and so much stronger than me. Holding my wrists in one hand he spins me around pinning them both behind my back and holding me in place to the front of his body. His other hand went under my chin holding my head up and I could hear his breathing heavy in my ear. “Damn” he growled. “You can really tell now, she smells so good.” “Bradley..” Caleb warned, he had come to stand beside him and was looking down at me. “Hurry up Greg.” “Be ready to catch her,” Greg said quickly before mumbling something I couldn’t catch under his breath pouring some of that powder into his hand. I whimpered pathetically, completely trapped as Greg reached me. He finished mumbling, holding his hand up to his mouth he blew the dust into my face, just as I was breathing in. I felt it enter my body and the effects were almost instantaneous, I lost control of my limbs completely as they collapsed beneath me. Bradley released his hold on me and Caleb caught me as I started to fall forwards. A strange heat built within me and just as it was about to get too much my eyes rolled back in my head, everything went dark and I knew no more.
