Chapter 12 They’d stopped running but still kept pushing hard for hours, without stopping. They ate quickly on the go. Quinn frequently glanced behind her at Alvin. He was still a hardened soldier and not unaccustomed to trekking through jungle terrain, but at sixty-five he was struggling to keep up with the harsh pace set by Dayton.
