Chapter ThreeMinella was undoing one of her trunks to take out a nightgown and the other things she would need for the night when Connie came into the room. Minella looked up at her apprehensively. She then had the distinct impression that Connie was going to say something that was upsetting, although why she should think so she had no idea. Connie sat down on the couch and started in a serious tone, “Listen to me, Minella.” Minella, who was kneeling beside her trunk, sat back on her heels. “What is it, Connie?” she asked. “Am I in – the way?
