Soon it was winter and we had finally finished the album. It took so many endless late nights and weekends. I hadn't worked at the Vertigo in a long time. My life consisted of, Malakai and Phoenix.  Tour was set to begin in one week. We were going to be traveling non stop... but that’s just what I wanted. To explore new places with the love of my life and his fun as hell band mates. I was literally living ‘the dream.’ My school had assured me that if I ever wanted to come back they would welcome me with open arms.  Honestly though, I had no idea if I’d ever go back. I know I didn’t want to be without Malakai. Ever. Again. Life was so dull without him. It's true what they say, ‘you never know what you REALLY have until it’s gone.’ I was lost without him.
