Chapter 03

Cassandra slowly opened her eyes as the sun hit her little pale face..

She slowly looked around her surroundings...and noticed an unknown place..

Her eyes widened in shock... Cassandra sat on the bed abruptly and rubbed her eyes again..but again she was greeted by the unknown room..

"Where I a_" and suddenly realization hit her.. her eyes again became wide as she remembered her memories of last night..

And then Cassandra's eyes went wide after recalling all memories of last night.. especially the last moment before she fell asleep "Last night..I got..married..to the devil!!!"

Flashback

Cassandra asked for 5 minutes to see her grandparents for the last time but Marcus didn't give her a single second..

He grabbed her wrist and dragged her inside of his car.. because he had lot's of work to do..with her of course..

Inside of the car, Cassandra kept sobbing and crying.. from the last 5 years her grandparents took great care of her when there was no one beside her! When her own father sold her to a heatless Devil..

'Even after hiding, running away from my past for the last 5 year's, I'm still in front of my past, in front of this devil!' Cassandra thought and kept crying..

Otherside Marcus was expressionless.. he was happy today..after 5 years he got his little kitten beside him.. but her tears were bothering him to the core..

He also doesn't know what's with these feelings but he didn't want to see her teary eyes and tears.. not now, not even 5 years ago at that stage where they displayed her like a mere animal..

Marcus sighed and with that, he took a hold of her waist in his both hand and made her sit on his lap...

Cassandra stiffened when he sneaked his both arms around her waist.. her body got numb..

"You.. leave me.. move your hands away from me you jerk!!" Cassandra shouted and tried to move away from his lap but Marcus didn't even flank..

Cassandra kept moving and cursing, shouting, screaming loudly but Marcus didn't moved..

At last, Marcus stared at her with his cold eyes.. Cassandra also felt his burning gaze on her.. she stopped moving.. she was feeling suffocated but she couldn't even complain about that..

She was so scared that her tears don't stop for a minute..

Marcus said in his husky voice "don't move.. don't cry.." his words were simple and those worked on Cassandra too..she stopped moving but her tears were unstoppable..

Marcus kept his head on her neck.. and her vanilla-jasmine scent rushed into his nose.. he snuggled more into her neck while Cassandra was also very tired after crying for long.. she also don't know when she fell asleep on his lap..

Cassandra woke up when she felt her body moving in air.. and a strong pair of arms were holding her.. she opened her eyes and noticed Marcus was carrying her towards a mansion..

She wiggles a little and said in a low tone "I can walk"

"And I can carry you .." Marcus replied immediately..and kept walking.. Cassandra also didn't bother to say something else..

The whole house was dark .. only the moonlight was coming inside.. Cassandra couldn't see much but she understood that it was a big mansion.. more like a castle..

Marcus direct walked towards his room and opened the door with his fingerprint.. other than him no one can enter here..not even his maids..

He slowly made her sit on the bed..and walked out..

"What was that?" Cassandra murmured after seeing his leaving her alone in this cold big room.. but she was relieved that she doesn't need to see him for a while..

Few dim lights were on so the whole room was not that dark..

Cassandra started thinking about her grandparents.. 'Maybe they started looking for me already.. I should've informed them.. but this devil monster didn't even let me tell them..Aghh what should I do!!'

"What are thinking?" A sudden cold voice broke the chain of her thoughts..

Cassandra looked up and noticed Marcus standing in front of him with a pen and some papers..

Cassandra didn't replied to his questions..she moved her gaze away from him to the window..

Marcus sighed after seeing her angry face.. he sat down beside her and put some papers on her lap..

"Sign it.." Marcus said..

Cassandra didn't even move a little.. she kept her face towards the window..

"I SAID SIGN IT" this time Marcus ordered her loudly..

Cassandra finally took the papers in her hand and started reading obediently..

After a few seconds, her eyes went wide in shock..

She slammed the papers on Marcus and said loudly "WHAT THE f**k IS THIS!!"

"Our marriage certificate..and CONDITIONS.." Marcus said with an evil smirk on his face.. he said the CONDITION word slowly.. because it holds the main point..

"What! Marriage? To you? Huh bullshit.. marry my legs you devil jerk.." Cassandra shouted while fuming in anger..

Marcus gave her a cold look and thought in his mind 'i knew it'

He took his phone from the bed and opened a video.. he kept his phone in front of Cassandra with an evil smirk..

As soon as Cassandra saw the video, she became completely shocked..

Her grandparents were sitting on 2 chairs with hands and legs tied up..And four people was around them.. pointing their guns at the old couple..

"What are you doing?? Who are they??" Cassandra started shivering..

"Sign the papers or there will be a blood shower in a minute.." Marcus said giving her a glare..

"But how can you do this to them?? They are no one to you.. you bought me so do whatever you want to do with me but please leave them.." again Cassandra started crying after seeing them in that state..

"I don't know about all that.. just sign those papers and I will leave them..or else" Marcus gritted his teeth and said..

Cassandra still didn't move.. she kept staring at his phone.. her grandparents were wiggling to remove those ropes from their hands..

Marcus noticed her and scoffed "Fine.. you want to kill them.. ok here you go.. KILL TH_"

"No no I'll marry you.. I'm signing it.. please.." Cassandra said and tears kept flowing down through her eyes..

Marcus wanted to wipe her tears but he had to act cold in front of her..to make their future bright..

Cassandra immediately took the pen from the bed and signed every paper..

"I did.. I did what you told me.. now please leave them.." she looked towards Marcus and said..

"Leave them.."Marcus said and cut his call..

He took a look at the papers..their marriage certificate... Finally, she is his Wife.. WIFE!!! It feels so peaceful to hear that..

Marcus pulled Cassandra into a hug and whispered slowly "I will protect you.. " 'till my last breath.. I love you Kitten..' he didn't said the last part loudly.. it's not the right time to expose everything to her..

Cassandra closed her eyes and thought in her mind with determination 'I hate you.. I hate you devil.. I will make you hate me just like the way I hate you..'

Flashback end..

Cassandra thought about her next plan and a smirk formed upon her face immediately..

"Just see ...how I make your life miserable just like you did to mine.. I will make you hate me..and divorce me.. just wait you Devil ..."

Finally Cassandra looked up and noticed the whole room which was bigger then her old house..

The whole room was filled with black and ash furniture's and items..

Cassandra grinned when an evil thought popped up in his head...

She quickly went inside of the washroom to take a quick shower..

After taking a 30 minutes bath.. she came out frustratedly..

"What should I wear now? That devil didn't even allow me to take my clothes from my room.. aghhhh" Cassandra thought and noticed a white shirt on the couch..and she smiled brightly..

All maids were busy in their works when they hear some faint sounds of footsteps behind them..

Cassandra walked down from the stairs.. she was amazed after seeing the mansion..no no it's a castle..

While she was amazed after seeing the house..all maids were amazed after seeing her...they were staring at her with wide eyes..

Cassandra noticed their gaze..and she smirked.. the first move of getting a divorce from the devil is done..yesss....
