Chapter 05

Next morning..

Cassandra woke up feeling something very heavy on her stomach..

With blurry images, she opened her eyes clearly and saw the most unexpected scene in front of her..

Marcus is sleeping soundly beside her..that too naked!!! His arms were around her waist Protectively..and his head was buried in her neck..

Even she felt something warm in her chest.. she looked down and her eyes widened.. with another hand he was grabbing her breast in his big warm palm like a baby..! thankfully she was still wearing his shirt, so he grabbed them with clothes..

Cassandra wanted to wake him up and smack his head until it gets right but after seeing his rage of yesterday night, she didn't dare to do that.. he is a freaking mafia lord, who will dare to mess with him!?

She slowly took a hold of his hand and moved it away.. she did the same with another hand.. with that she quickly run towards the washroom..she can't face him like this..

After almost 10 minutes she came inside and noticed the empty bed.. Cassandra sighed in relief..she doesn't want to see him neither..

Suddenly a big balcony caught her attention which was inside of her room... She slowly walked there to take fresh air..

Cassandra was wearing a simple bath rope since she doesn't have any clothes..

She looked towards the small lake in front of the mansion which was filled with roses.. and unknown to her, a smile crept on her face because she loves roses.. and that lake was looking so mesmerizing..

Suddenly she felt a pair of warm hands sneaking into her waist..and a big chest covering her whole back…

Cassandra didn't turned back because instantly she recognized him..and after spending a day here she knows that, no one can enter in her room without him..

"What are you thinking?" he whispered near her ear..

Without moving her eyes Cassandra replied "How to get back my freedom.." her answer was simple and clean to her but for him it was hurtful..

"You have all your freedom kitten.. you can do anything you want.. I will give you anything.. even I'm also yours.." Marcus said and kissed her ear with a faint smile..

"Then free me..free me from your cage and from this marriage.." Cassandra just turned her face and stared into his eyes which were looking nothing but empty..

"Other than keeping you far from me, I can do everything.. it's chilly cold outside, put on some clothes from the closet and come downstairs for breakfast..

With that he left the balcony, taking his warm presence along with him..

Cassandra's pov

I didn't lie to him.. yes, I want to get free from him and from this marriage.. but, why did I feel empty when he left me alone here?

(Shook head) maybe I'm thinking too much..

I slowly walked towards the walk-in closet because I need some dress to wear..I can't keep walking in his shirts!

I opened the first closet and saw that the wardrobe was stuffed with woman's clothes which were all of my sizes!

"Is he real! How did he get to know about my size?" I was utterly surprised..even all the dresses are so pretty.. there was all kind of dresses..from tracksuit to party dress..

'This man… he never fails to surprise me sigh*' I thought and took a pink short till knee dress..

After changing my dress, I came out of her room and I was greeted by a maid who was waiting for me outside...

"Ma'am, master is waiting for you at the hall.." She informed..

Third pov

"Did you informed them?" Marcus asked Alex .

"Yes Boss, they were shocked of course.. they never imagined that you'll visit them at their party.." Alex said..

Before Marcus could ask more, Alex informed "They don't know about ma'am yet but I surely informed them that you'll visit with your partner today.."

Marcus smirked devilishly and said with furious eyes "Will he come today? After all, It's his dear son's birthday"

"Yes Boss, I've confirmed that he will come.. in fact, he knows that you will be present in the party.." Alex informed..

Marcus didn't said anything else and had a devilish grin on his face..

Cassandra was waiting for Marcus in the hall room when he came out from his study room with Alex..

As soon as Marcus noticed Cassandra, he went near her and said gently "I have an important meeting now,I can't join you for breakfast.."

Cassandra looked indifferent as she said with stern eyes "You never did, so it doesn't matter.."

Marcus left a breath and said "Tonight we have to attend a party.. be ready by 6 .. I'll direct pick you up after work.."

"Keep dreaming.. I'm not going anywhere with you ..." Cassandra immediately stood up and said in a very cold tone..

A smirk formed upon his face as he went near her ears and whispered "Then I don't mind spending the whole night making hot love with you kitten.. "

Cassandra's eyes widened.. How..how can he even say this!!!

Marcus was satisfied after seeing her expression.. he put his both hand in his pockets and said "Now the choice is yours.. either join me to attend the party or we can have se_"

"OK FINE.. I'll go with you ..." Cassandra said and thought 'How can he say something like this so loudly! In front of all the maids and his assistant! Gosh..'

After kissing her on her forehead, Marcus left with Alex..

After wandering alone the whole day, Cassandra went to get ready for the party..

She kept staring at the closet which was filled with different kinds of dresses.. and she sighed helplessly..'How can anyone choose a dress from this mountain of dresses!!!'

Suddenly a dress caught her attention.. and an evil plan formed up in her mind..

"Let's see, if you will again propose me for any another party.." She murmured with an evil smile .

At 6 pm

Marcus entered into the house alone because Alex is waiting for them in car and he came to fetch Cassandra..

He was about to step down on the stairs when he heard some footsteps from upstairs.

Then the next scene was enough to give him a heart attack..

Cassandra was standing on the top of the stairs wearing a sexy red short slit pleated straps dress.. she made it look sexier with the red lipstick..

She looked so gorgeous that he couldn't take his eyes off her..

Cassandra smirked after seeing his face.. she gracefully walked down towards him..and finally stood in front of him..

Looking straight into his eyes, she said sarcastically "Are you done staring?"

Marcus left a breath and dangerously closed the gap between them.. their faces were barely 2 inches far when he said in his dusky tone "f**k! You're making me so hard that I don't want to go out now.."
