As Abigail walked home from school, a sense of unease crept up on her. She couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her. She turned around but saw no one. She quickened her pace, hoping to get home as fast as possible. The incident with the detectives was still fresh in her mind, and she couldn't help but wonder why they were so fixated on them. "Why in the hell would they think we are werewolves?" she muttered to herself, trying to shake off the fear that had been gnawing at her since the interrogation. As she turned a corner, she saw a group of boys from school huddled together and whispering. She tried to avoid them, but one of them spotted her and shouted, "Hey, Abigail! Come over here!"
