Dianna walked up to the door and opened it, revealing the detective standing at their doorstep. "Oh, it's you again," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. John noticed the tension in the room immediately. He had dealt with enough people to recognize when something was off. "I forgot my jotter," he said, trying to sound casual. As Dianne went to retrieve his jotter, John couldn't help but notice the expression on Peter's face. He was clearly agitated, and it was obvious that something was amiss. John knew that the family was hiding something, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to the wolf sighting than they were letting on. As Dianne handed him his jotter, John made a mental note to keep a close eye on the family.
