Chapter 6 Family Dinner

An excerpt from Infinity Book 1...

It was a great journey for the Valencia Family. After Ariane and Paulo had been through a lot, here they were with their five beautiful children. They've grown so well and are kind just like their parents.

Ariane and Paulo were so proud of all of them.

Ariane smiles while she reminisces all the trials they've been through with Paulo. She was setting the buffet table now for their family dinner. Moira was helping her. She had been Ariane's friend and almost a sister since she married Paulo. Mrs. Valencia treated Moira as her very own daughter as well.

"Thanks, Moira," she said to her.

"Welcome Ariane. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to approach me," Moira replied.

"No. I think we set the buffet table well. You may take your rest first," Ariane said to her.

"By the way, have you seen Sab and Jude?" Ariane asked Moira.

"I haven't. Perhaps they were in Mama Beatriz's room," Moira said.

Mrs. Valencia was a bit weak now when she got older. She used to stay in her room and the kids were always there to take care and make her happy.

Jude loves Mrs. Valencia as his very own Granny since he was the first child being taken care of Mrs. Valencia. He won't forget the true kindness of Mrs. Valencia's heart.

"I am so proud of having you Jude as my first grandchild," Mrs. Valencia said to Jude while demonstrating for him to come over and help her to sit in her wheelchair.

"I am so grateful for having you as my grandmother, Granny. Thank you so much for being so good to me. I love you, Granny," Jude sincerely said to Mrs. Valencia while helping her sit in her wheelchair. He kissed the old lady's forehead after she settled down.

The other Valencia kids and Sab were so happy seeing the love between Jude and their grandmother. They were fully aware of the relationship between the two as Ariane and Paulo didn't hide anything.

"The table is already set. Kids, please come down," Moira is calling them downstairs.

"Yey, we will be eating lots of our favorites now," the twins were so excited saying these words.

The Valencia siblings and Moira went downstairs as Jude was helping Mrs. Valencia on her special stairway for the wheelchair.

"Let's go, Granny," Jude respected asked Mrs. Valencia.

Mrs. Valencia was so spoiled with her grandchildren as well. As she showered all of them with her love and affection equally, she was now enjoying the fruit of all her labor with them. The Valencia children including Jude and Sab loved her so much.

There's no such amount of money that can replace the warmth of the love Mrs. Valencia is experiencing now from these kids. She loves them so much.

As they were all headed to the buffet table, Ariane and Paulo were so happy seeing how their children were all grown up now and how Pauolo's mother, Mrs. Beatriz Valencia all smiled while chatting with her grandchildren.

"Mom loves our children so much," Ariane couldn't help it but burst out crying as she was overwhelmed by Mrs. Valencia.

Paulo put his arm on Ariane's shoulder and said," Of course, they were all Mom's blessing. Mom dreamed of having a big family ever since and we are thanking you my dear wife for bringing us so many bundles of joy, our children," he kissed his wife's cheeks after saying these words.

Suddenly, there were visitors...

"Hey brother, are we late," Russel came in together with his wife Maris and their twins.

"Good evening Mom," Russel kissed the forehead of Mrs. Valencia when he approached the old lady sitting in a wheelchair.

"I am so glad you and your family arrived," Mrs. Valencia was so happy to see Russel. She treated him as her son as well.

"I am so grateful and overwhelmed with your family Mom. How can I say no to such a beautiful lady?" Russel told Mrs. Valencia.

Mrs. Valencia loves his boys every time they treated her queen like their queen.

"Come, let's all eat," Ariane invited Maris and the twins to the buffet area.

They all enjoyed the buffet and savor the menu prepared by Moira and Ariane.

"You never failed to cook so well, Ariane," Russel said to Ariane.

"Thank you. It's my thing, you know," Ariane replied.

The kids enjoyed their presence well and eat whatever they want.

They also had some games and the elders went to the Butterfly Garden after they had their meals.

"Time flies so fast, our kids were all grown-ups already," Maris said to Moira and Ariane.

"Yeah, they are now the ones creating their own stories. Ours had already done," Ariane replied.

"Yup, they were all teenagers now," Moira said.

"I am happy that Jude and Sab were boyfriend and girlfriend now," Maris told the two ladies in front of her. She knew that these two young people will be sweethearts since they were still kids.

"Yeah, Jude loves Sabina so much and so Sabina to Jude as well," Ariane happily said to them.

They chatted and looked at the children who were playing outside.

"Are you happy Baby," Jude asked Sabina while staring into her eyes.

Sabina's face reddened and then she nodded.

"Hey, are you still shy with me?" Jude hold her chin and lifted it.

He was about to kiss Sabina when Princess approached and said," Hey, Mom and Dad asked us to come over for dinner," she smiled as she already knew what she had interrupted.

Jude's sharp eyes were looking at Princess already.

"You know how to execute your negative plans, aren't you?" he said to her sister.

"Ha ha ha! Nothing personal my dear elder brother," Princess laughed.

Sabina felt so embarrassed as they were almost caught by Jude's sister, kissing.

She was so ashamed of that thought.

Jude knew how Sabina felt. He held her hand and whisper in her ear," Don't feel embarrassed, we do not do anything... yet" he smiled and put his arm on Sabina's shoulder as they head inside Villa Valencia already
