Chapter 8 Unexpected Meeting

Sabina and Jude were having their dinner date at "Romantic Baboy," in Tagaytay. They were so happy chatting with each other.

"I love you, Sabina," Jude emotionally said to Sabina.

"I love you too Jude," Sabina replied wholeheartedly.

Suddenly, Jude's mobile phone vibrates.

Ariane's number appeared.

Jude opened his phone and read the message, "Are you done with your date son? Dad and I will pick up you and Sabina now."

"Is something wrong Mom?" Jude was startled as his mother never interfere with him every time he had a date with Sabina. It's just now.

"No son. We will be heading to the airport to meet someone," Ariane replied.

"Airport? Who will be coming?" Jude replied. He can't remember anybody working abroad that will come over. He was wondering.

"It will be a big surprise for Sabina. Don't tell her yet," Ariane sent her message to Jude, making him keep a bit silent.

"Alright," Jude kept it a secret from Sabina. Knowing his parents, he knew it will be something good for Sabina.

"Who is it?" Sabina asked him while continue eating her food.

"It's Mom. They will be heading here and fetch us. We will go somewhere else," he said. He is observing Sabina's reaction.

"Alright," Sabina replied. She is also wondering who will be fetched at the airport then.

After they had done eating. Ariane sent a message to Jude again.

"We are here already," a message was sent to Jude.

"Okay, we are going there," Jude replied. He immediately gets his things and Sabina's bag. He used to carry her things since they were kids.

"Come on. They are waiting for us already," he held Sabina's hand and move out after paying their bills.

Sabina and Jude then ride inside the coaster. Everybody was there including Moira, Sabina's mother.

"Hey Mom, you are here as well," Sabina was surprised seeing her mother.

"Yup," Moira said. She wanted to surprise Sabina but she doesn't know if she will like their surprise or what. She had so many secrets to her daughter. She only confessed everything to Valencia couples everything when she doesn't know what to do anymore. Ariane and Paulo helped her settle everything.

As they were heading to the airport, Sabina is wondering. Valencia's family doesn't have any family or friends who are abroad. Who will they be picking up here?

Likewise, Moira's heart was beating so fast. She doesn't know what will be her daughter, Sabina's reaction after their surprise to her.

Tito Russel and his family were in the Philippines as well. Sabina thought so.

A few moments later...

As they were all waiting at the lobby, a teenage boy of the same age as Jude approached them and said, " Hi are you, Sabina?"

Sabina wondered as she doesn't even know who this boy is.

"Yes, I am Sabina, who are you then?" she said while staring at the boy in front of her.

Jude was also observing the boy who had a resemblance to Sabina's features.

"I am you brother. I am here with Dad. He wanted to see you," he said softly and direct to the point.

"Hey, wait. I can't get it. You said that you are my brother and you are here with my father. I think you are mistaken. I am an only child and my father died a long time ago," this was what Moira said to her when she was a kid. She slowly look at her mother as if she wanted to clear some things.

"I am sorry Sab. I was just afraid to tell you about it before. Your father is still alive and we are just his second family, Moira said with her eyes moistened. Her hands were shaking as well. She felt so guilty not telling her daughter, Sabina, the truth.

Ariane held Moira's hand to calm her. She knows how hard it was for Moira to be caught in the middle of this situation.

Sabina was a bit shocked. She only knew everything right at this moment. "Mom."

Jude held Sabina's hand and comforted her. He was indeed shocked as well. Sabina should be warned ahead.

"Our Dad is sick and he wanted to see you. He asked me to look for you," the guy informed her. He was so happy to meet his sister who almost look like him and their father.

"I am Luis, we are of the same age. My mother had just died and Dad wanted to ask for your forgiveness. We have already talked with Tita Moira and explained everything. I hope you can forgive our father as he had only a few months to live," Luis said to Sab.

Sabina was shocked. She wasn't recovered yet from the news that she still had a father and now another shocking news that her father will be leaving soon.

Jude's gentle caress on her back helped her recover and got back to her senses.

Her tears fell. She longed for her father and her mother never said anything against her father.

"Where is he?" her voice stammered.

When Sabina saw a skinny man sitting in a wheelchair and smiling at her, she burst out crying and run through his father.

She hugged him and said, " Dad. How are you Dad? I am not mad at you," she cried a lot.

The man caressed Sabina's hair and was so grateful that his daughter wasn't mad at him.

"Thank you, my child. You are so beautiful," Fernan said to her daughter. Sabina had a resemblance to her father.

The reunion of Sabina with her father and brother made the Valencia family happy. They knew that having a complete family is their best gift to Sabina.

Jude walked over and introduced himself to Sabina's father and brother.

"Hello, Sir. I am Sabina's boyfriend. How are you?" Jude politely spoke to Sabina's father.

"Thank you for taking good care of my daughter and her mother," the man replied to Jude. He was so grateful to the family who took care of Sabina and Moira.
