Hannah’s POV “I don’t understand why you need to be at the hospital with her,” I said, trying not to sound annoyed as Sebastian was leaving for the day. “I can’t let her go through something like this alone,” Sebastian said, keeping his tone even and his eyes away from me. I couldn’t help but feel like there was something he wasn’t telling me; a knot was forming in my throat, and I swallowed it down into my stomach. “Are you forgetting the statement she made about me to the media?” I asked, folding my arms across my chest. He turned to finally look at me; his eyes revealing something I didn’t understand. “The media twists words around. She didn’t mean it the way it sounded,” he told me, trying to keep his tone calm. “She still said it…” I muttered. “Hannah…” he warned.
