His Tribrid Mate

Chapter 3

Carmen is in her and Logan's bedroom. Harmonee teleports there. Carmen laughs. "I was wondering when I was going to see you." She hugs Harmonee. "Are you okay?"

Harmonee sits on the bed. "Yeah, I will be okay. I have been trying to figure out why the Mood Goddess did this to me."

Carmen tells Harmonee that she found out from Logan that Channing doesn't sleep with his members. "What is your plan? Are you going to reject him? Wait aren't you worried that Channing will smell you?" Carmen sits beside her.

Harmonee shakes her head. "I am going to watch him for a while. Since he has found me I am wondering if he will sleep around. Rejection is still an option. As for my scent, I have it hidden. The only problem is to keep Diamond from trying to come out. It seems you have a good mate. I am happy for you." She hugs Carmen and looks at the mark on her neck.

"Logan is wonderful. So far he seems to be different from Channing. Are you coming here soon?" Carmen walks over to the window. "It would be nice if you did."

"Yes, I'm coming soon, when is up in the air. Just because I come it doesn't mean that I will stay here." Harmonee walks over to stand beside Carmen. She sees Channing jogging toward the woods. "Let me go find out what he is up to." She shifts into Sapphire then she disappears

Carmen laughs. "I believe that Alpha Channing Parker has met his match." She whispers

Logan opens the door. He is looking around the room. "I thought I heard you talking to someone." He looks at her confused

"Nope, it's just me." She hugs him.

"Damn, Channing must be wearing off on me." He's thinking, burying his head into her neck.

Channing is out jogging, he is trying to clear his mind. So he can go get his mate. Three rogues are lurking in the woods close by when they see him.

"Isn't that the Alpha?" A black-haired man points at Channing

"Yep, that's the arrogant Alpha in living color. Let's teach his ass a lesson." The blonde hit the other blonde on his arm.

All three are walking toward Channing.

Channing sniffs, looking in the directions that the men are coming from. "Now what do these sons of bitches want? They must have a death wish" He is thinking. "Don't say that you want my land. Because that is something that you and no one will ever take"

"No actually we just want you dead." The blonde points at Channing with both hands. He and the other two men start shifting.

"It's going to be one of those days. I just can't seem to get a f*****g break." He is talking out loud to himself as he shifts.

Titan's large black Alpha wolf is looking at three medium-size wolves circling around him. Just as all three wolves are about to jump him. All four wolves hear a loud growl that is coming from one of the trees. All four of them look up toward the trees. They see a large black panther in the air. Her sharp claws are out and her mouth is wide open. She swings her claw at a tan wolf's throat, slicing it open. While she lands on a brown and black wolf. She bites down on the wolf's neck, ripping his throat out.

Titan has the other wolf by his head, biting down. The wolf is trying to fight back. Titan opens his mouth releasing the wolf's head. But only for a second before he bites down again, tearing the wolf's head off.

Once the wolf is dead. Titan turns around looking for the black panther. But she is already gone. He doesn't bother going behind a tree to shift. He shifts right there, as he mind-links Logan to have someone clean up the remains. He walks over to a bush picking up a pair of shorts and a tee shirt. "I knew I wasn't crazy. But why did it help me? Also, why did it run away" He's thinking and looking, around

Sapphire is high in a tree above him. She is looking down at him. "Damn it, I didn't mean to show myself. But I couldn't let him fight those rogues alone. One thing I can say is that thot didn't lie. He does have an enormous d**k" She's thinking.

"Gold Fang Pack"

When Brodie walks into the den he looks at his mate. "Sweetheart, you and I both know that our daughter will make the right decision. Harm will never jump into anything without thinking it through. Not even a mate. Yes, she can be headstrong, but not when it comes to matters of the heart." He kisses the top of her head.

"True but what if for once she makes the wrong decision. I am also concerned that he will not be a faithful mate if she does mate with him. We both know our daughter's temper. She will not take that well." Mariko shook her head.

Brodie rubs the back of her hand. "Then if he does screw around on our little girl then I will just have to kill myself an Alpha. Now stop worrying. Believe me, our daughter will handle this her way."

"Carmen has found her mate. So that is good. Since her mate is Channing's Beta, she and Harm will still be together. That will ease my mind some. Carmen has been able to calm Harmonee down sometimes." Mariko is thinking.

"Dark Moon pack"

Some of the members are in the yard grilling. Most of the unmated she-wolves are looking at Channing. They still have hopes that he will give in and pick one of them to mate with.

Channing, Logan, and Carmen are sitting on the patio. He is tapping his fingers on the table. "You two thought that I was losing my mind. That panther fought beside me today. I don't know why. But it did." He points at Logan.

"Say that it did happen. How can you explain it being in the house without leaving a trace?" Logan hands him a beer.

"I don't know the answer to that. But right now I need to start looking for my mate. Even if I have to bring her here kicking and screaming. The stunning Ms. Harmonee Knight is mine." He sits back in his chair nodding his head.

Carmen is looking at him, shaking her head. "That's something that I would love to see." She's thinking

"Man you can't force her to come here." Logan whisper yells

Channing stands up " She's my mate. I'll kill anyone that touches her or tries to stop me. Even if I'll die doing it." He walks into the house.

The next morning Channing locked himself in his office. Harmonee drives up to the front gate. A handsome guard about her age is flirting with her. She doesn't pay him any attention. She tells him that she is there to see Carmen the Female Beta. She can see that he is communicating with someone. Then he waves her into the gate.

Carmen and Logan meet her in front of a beautiful four-story brick house. Carmen introduces him to Harmonee.

Logan keeps looking at the door. "Why hasn't he run out here yet? I know that he smells her." Then he looks at Harmonee confused.

Harmonee hugs Carmen. "So where is he?"

"His office. He has locked himself in there. But before you go in there you need to know that he hasn't been himself since you ran off. I am worried about him." Logan opens the front door.

Harmonee is looking around the house. She has only seen his bedroom, Carmen, and Logan's room. "Besides drinking too much. What else is wrong with him?" She is walking behind Logan

"How does she know that" He is thinking as he stops in front of Channing's office door. "He is seeing things. Mainly a black panther."

"Oh, that will end soon." She inhales peppermint and mocha. Then she knocks on the door.

"Go away. I told you that I don't want to be disturbed." Channing yells from inside his office.

Logan smiles and leans closer to the door. "Alpha there is someone here to see you."

"Get the hell away from my door. I don't want to see anyone." Channing yells again

"What in the hell is going on here? Are you sure that you're his mate?" Logan is looking at Harmonee and his mate with both eyes narrowed.

Carmen keeps looking at the door.

Harmonee ignores that remark "Do you have a key?"

Logan shook his head still looking at her.

She knocks on the door "Channing this is Harmonee, your mate. Open the door."

"Your lying, you all are trying to trick me." He yells and hits his desk. "Do they play me for a fool"

"I am not lying. Do you remember the last thing I said to you before I walked away? I can repeat it if you don't believe me. Or I can just leave. Which one do you prefer?" Harmonee takes a deep breath.

He opens the door looking at her "You look like my mate but you sure as hell don't smell like her. You smell human" Channing looks her up and down.

"s**t, I forgot. No wonder Logan asked me that." She mumbles looking at him.
