Finally, Eric broke. He turned around and yelled, “Stop!”
But the skinny man didn’t listen. “Swish!” The man swung the pipe hard, aiming for the back of the woman’s head!
Bang! A loud, metallic sound rang out. The man’s hand was vibrating into numbness, while the pipe flew out of his hand.
“f**k you!” The man growled at Eric with a ferocious look.
Eric had made his move. He fended off the skinny man’s pipe with his truncheon. Because of the zombies’ energy he had absorbed, he was able to move considerably faster than the average man.
This all took place in a matter of seconds. During that time, Andy moved quickly to ready himself with the crossbow. For him it was simple, he didn’t care what anyone else did, as soon as Eric stepped in, he would follow!
