CHAPTER 4: LIZ –––––––– “I love you too, Robbie.” Liz struggled to keep the sadness from her voice. “Yes, I’m sure. Go and have fun with your friends. I’ll be fine and so will your father. Yes, call me on Christmas.” As soon as she hung up, she let the tears fall. This was going to be the worst Christmas ever. She’d never been alone on Christmas. Never.
