“No.” Craig grabbed Liz’s arm. He had no idea what she thought she’d seen, but she didn’t see him cheat. She should’ve talked to him about it, but obviously that wasn’t going to happen. At least not until after they f****d because he was going to have her tonight.
“No?” She jerked free from his grip. “You don’t get to tell me no.”
He took a deep steadying breath. Anger never worked with Liz. “I think we can help each other.” He rested his hand on her arm, running his thumb over her soft skin.
“How? You seem more interested in talking than doing. My husband wasn’t interested in my body either and—”
“That’s not true!” He’d lain awake too many nights, hard and ready but afraid to wake her because he knew she’d refuse him.
