Telling himself getting involved with another coworker would be a mistake didn’t seem to be stopping Clark. Apparently he didn’t learn from past mistakes. Either that or the pain of Aaron’s betrayal had dulled enough that Clark had forgotten it.
Hell, Thomas wasn’t even a coworker but a subordinate employee. Still, there was something about Thomas he couldn’t seem to resist. He’d been trying. Honest.
