The moment she opened her eyes, I knew something wasn’t right. She looked around at everyone and even asked some questions, but deep down I felt she was hurting. I tried to reach out to her through our bond, but she had her wall up. The second she said she was going up to our room because she was tired, I wanted to go up with her, but I wanted to give her some time alone. I’m sure her parents and Alex noticed it too because they watched her as she left the living room and went up the stairs.
Now that everyone was gone, I made my way up to our room. My legs were moving faster than I thought they would. As soon as I opened the door, her sobs reached my ears. I quickly went in and closed the door before going to her. I sat on the bed and pulled her to me. She didn’t fight me at all
