“So, do you want to tell me what happened?” Uriel asked as he drove to my parents' house.
“Like you didn’t hear” I said and he chuckled. I knew Uriel was close, I could feel his presence, but I didn't know he was watching, at least not at first. Not until I stood up to Cory. I stood up to Cory because I had enough of his stupidity and he needed to be put in his place.
“Are you okay?” Uriel asked.
“I am. I’m just angry that he tried to claim my pup after he rejected me”, I admitted, while my mate nodded in understanding.
