"Nathan will never do that to me," I said, but a part of me believe he actually will.
"Let's say he won't, but I will," he whispered lowly into my ears as he squeezes my wrist tighter. I can feel his other hand sliding down lower towards my ass and squeeze it.
I pushed him back, only to have him retorted, slamming me farther into the wall. "With your behavior, I should bend you down on the side of my bed right now."
"I don't want to be with either of you," I hissed.
"You don't, but your wolf wants us. Wait, my mistake I meant wolves," he said, wrinkling his nose cutely.
"How did you know?" I asked, quite shocked that he found out. I was able to keep my wolves a secret for so long and yet, he knows in such a short matter of time. We haven't even spend a whole day together.
"I can feel them, darling. They are practically begging for us to make a mess out of them. In the end, you will, too," he slightly laughed, but his eyes were serious.
"That's what you think," I gave him a half-smile, slightly chuckling, but a part of me knows he is speaking the truth. The mating bond will force us to be together, where our wolves will continuously whine at us to be together. One wolf whining is fine, but three is purely torturous.
He licked his lower lips. "Eventually, darling, they will rebel against you, particularly the other two who had waited for their mate for so long. I can feel them, they are anxious. Although I am quite curious about why they are afraid of you."
"It's none of your business," I spat out.
He bites his lip as his grip on my wrist tighten. "A half hunter with multiple wolves inside of her. It is quite fascinating, you are definitely a one of a kind, and you are ours," he gave me a mischievous smile.
I can hear my wolves howling silently in the back of my mind. They were trying to contain their happiness, but they couldn't help it. I will have to talk to them later about controlling their emotions.
"What's your name?"
"Ace, pleasure to meet you, my darling," he grabbed my hand, elegantly placing a kiss on top of it.
"Darling, I apologize, but I have to go. It seems like Nathaniel wants out, but don't worry, I'll be back to play with you." He grazed his lips on my neck and licked it slightly, then look at me.
I saw Nathan's eye flickered back to his usual color. He looks at me with confusion as he took a step back, shaking his head. "S-Sorry Aria. I didn't know what happen. My wolf took over."
Nathan's eyes widen as he trails along my wrist. Quickly, he grabbed it. "W-What happened? Did Ace do this?!" he shouted frantically, rubbing my wrist slightly. My wrist was red, and a handprint bruise was forming.
"Yes," I told him while I looked at the ground, mind plotting Ace death, which unfortunately involves Nathan too.
He stood there with an angry look on his face, but he didn't say anything. Most likely he is having a conversation with Ace. After some time he lets out a deep breath. "Come on, let's grab you something to eat, Aria," he said in a low, defeated voice and grabbed my hand lightly, leading me to the kitchen.
"Your wolf is very, expressive," I tried to choose my words as cautiously as I can knowing Ace can hear me.
Nathan cleared his throat as he placed food on the plates. "Yes, he is quite expressive."
"Why is he like that?" I leaned against the counter, crossing my arms.
He scoffed, "He is the wolf of an Alpha with the largest and most powerful pack in Northern America. What do you think?"
I nodded, that would definitely cause some heads to swell. I glanced at Nathan, glad that he isn't the wolf, and the wolf isn't him. Does that make sense?
"You know. I am serious about what I say." He stops putting food on the plate. Placing both hands flat on the counter and licked his lips.
"Angel. Don't ever say that again." He clenched his fist tightly as he closed his eyes in taking deep breaths. Most likely trying to control Ace from coming out. I have a feeling I may meet Ace a lot more than I would like to.
Placing my elbows on the counter, I let out a deep sigh. Should I reject him and go under the human protection program? After all, I am still human, according to paperwork. I can hear my wolves howling in pain when they heard that.
'Shut it!' I screamed.
'B-B-But,' Elizabeth the new wolf from my previous life, complained.
'I said, stop!'
Kimberly and Emerald immediately stop howling. They had been with me a lot longer than Elizabeth, so they understand when to stop. Elizabeth wasn't there with me in my fifth life.
'B-But he is our mate! You can't do that! We love him! We need him!' she screeched.
Immediately, I forcefully block her out.
'Either of you has anything to say?' I challenged them.
Kimberly and Emerald didn't say anything.
'Good.'
I don't like to treat them this way. I know it's quite unfair for me to do this. I actually adore every one of them.
Kimberly was my first wolf in my fourth life when I died early. We didn't have much time to communicate until she followed me to my fifth life. It was the first time I was reborn in this world. I wasn't quite sure why she follows me here, and neither does she. I told her everything about my previous lives. When I had only one wolf, it's bearable.
Until I hit the age of 17, which apparently was the age werewolves get their wolves in this world. I didn't know I was reborn as a werewolf since I was abandoned at a human orphanage. When I was 17, I slowly went insane. Loco. Crazy. Mentally unstable. Psycho. Whatever anyone can think of, I was that. I made so many terrible mistakes. I decided to take my own life not too long after, only to be back again.
It was my sixth life when I got Elizabeth. During that life, I decided to do good deeds whenever I can to clear my conscious, to wash off the red blood on my hands.
I realized that in order not to go insane again, I can't let my wolves make all the decisions. So, I merely overpower them. Wolves are such beautiful creatures; their only mistake is allowing their natural instinct to take control of them.
Suddenly, I felt a hand around my waist, lifting me onto the counter. Nathan positions himself between my legs as he wraps his massive arm around my waist, placing his chin on my shoulder.
"Please, don't go," he whispered into my ear as I feel a burning sensation when his warm breath hit. Biting my lips, I held back a whimper forming in my throat.
"Please, don't leave me. Promise me you will never leave me," his voice sounds a little crack this time. My wolves didn't say anything, but I can feel them, they were in pain.
I wrap my arms around his neck as he pulled me in tighter. I couldn't help but smell him. He smells so good, and it makes me feel safe. I didn't reply to him. After all, I shouldn't make a promise I can't keep.
He let out a sigh of relief, assuming that I had accepted his request. After a few minutes of embracing each other. He lifted me down. "Now, lets eating," he smiled.
After we finish eating, I went upstairs to get unpacking. The sooner I do it, the better. If I don't do it, someone else will, and I don't like it when someone else touches my stuff. There are some things in here that are not meant to be seen by anyone, ever.
My phone ding.
Your Hoe: Call me. It's important.
"Hey, Cyn. What's up?" I asked, and she started screaming in a higher vocal than usual.
"What happened? Are you okay Cyn? Is everything okay?" I yelled, sat up, and ran for my jacket.
Immediately Nathan dashed in. "Angel?! What's wrong?!"
"It's Cyn!" I shouted.
He stopped and gave me a puzzled look.
"My best friend!" I stated, throwing an arm up into the air
"Huh?" He responded, standing there, tilting his head slightly, indicating complete confusion at my statement.
"The redhead who came with me today!" I tried to explain, hoping he will follow.
He narrowed his eyes, "There was a red-head that came with you today?"
I rolled my eyes at him. So much for being an observant Alpha. I should've known, throughout the whole day, he was staring at me, or he was burying his face in my neck.
"Oh, my gumdrop and licorice! Aria!" Cynthia shriek through the phone, and I shifted my attention back to her.
"What?!" I yelled, tugging on my jacket as I head for the door, hearing Nathan's footsteps behind me.
"I saw Alex! He...He...He-"
"What did he do?! Are you okay?!"
"He was...was...was-" she tries to calm herself down by breathing slower.
"What?! He was what?!" I yelled and ran faster out of the house as Nathan followed me behind with a concerned look on his face.
"He was in front of me half naked earlier!" she squealed, voice filled with delight.
I stopped running, and Nathan almost trips, trying not to crash into me. "W-What did y-you say?"
"Alex was in front of me, half-naked earlier! He finished taking a hot steamy shower, and he was only wearing a towel! Not just any towel! A white towel! He smirked at me while he was drying his hair! Oh gosh, he looks so hot that I alm-" I cut off the call and head back inside the house.
Nathan step in front of me. "Angel, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, it is," I tried to say as calmly as possible.
His eyes analyzed my stunned features. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah. You mind if I go to bed early?"
His warm palms laid on my cheeks. "No, go ahead. Are you tired?"
"No, I just prefer to make plans while I'm in bed," I said, giving him a blank look as my lips twitch slightly
He scratched his head. "Plans?"
I nodded, "Yeah."
"Plans for what?"
"Plan for revenge."
That girl is so dead.
Aria's POV:
When I woke up in the morning, I feel an enormously heavy arm wrap around me. Adjusting my eyes, I realize it was Nathan's arm. I tried to kick him off the floor last night, but somehow he kept coming back in. I kicked him onto the ground three times and told him to stay there. He kept making the excuse of having to go to the bathroom or getting water then came crawling back into bed.
"Morning Angel," he said, pecking my cheek, sending a sweet tingly sensation through my body.
"Morning," I sat up and stretched only to fall back down into his arms. "Five more minutes," I mumbled into his chest. I can feel his chest shaking slightly, attempting to hold in a chuckle. He re-wrap his arms around me, and we started sleeping again.
The door slammed open, scaring the life out of me. "Wakie Wakie, my dear Alpha!"
"Shut up, Ethan," his voice was sharp and irritated. I peeked up from under the covers, adjusting my weary eyes.
"Oh, you seem unhappy," Ethan said in his baby voice, pouring out his lower lips in a ridiculing manner.
"Because I am unhappy," I hear the increasing irritation in his voice.
"Did the big bad wolf woke up on the wrong side of the bed?" he continued his baby voice with a pout.
I must say I like Ethan.
He either got balls or just stupid.
"Omp!" Nathan threw a pillow into Ethan's face.
Nathan sat up, and I wiped the drool from the side of my lips, indiscreetly staring at his muscles. "Get out!"
"Come on, baby. You're not picking her over me, right? We have been together forever! d***s before chicks!" He shouted, beaming an overly happy smile at us.
Looking at Ethan, the side of his lips twisted upward, and he sends an air kiss towards Nathan, causing me to burst into laughter. I wiggle my way out of Nathan's arm and jump off the bed, holding onto my aching stomach, attempting not to fall to the ground.
Nathan frown, "Angel, where are you going?"
I look at Nathan than at Ethan. Ethan started wiggling his brows at me, and I laugh again while heading towards the bathroom.
Before I close the door, I heard Ethan's voice, "Own! I can't believe you would hit your main hoe like that!"
I smiled, thinking it's cute how they interact together, respect each other, well kind of respect for each other. They are more like brothers than only Alpha and Beta. It's cute that Nathan would not treat Ethan as if he is under him.
I met a good amount of alphas before in my lives. I can say that not all of them are good. Some of them, very respectful, but a majority of them act as if they are above their pack.
When I got out, I saw something quite spectacular. Nathan was standing there in his sweats, shirtless. Muscles rippled across every part of his leaned body. My eyes refused to blink as I watch him flex his strength; long fingers ran through his short hair, which shifted back into place. The brilliant light radiating through the windows made his sinewy tanned skin glowed. I swallow the saliva that was forming in my mouth. Incidentally, I would lick my lips, and shamelessly continue to stare.
'That's all ours,' the voices inside my head echoes in pleasing harmony.
"Would you like me to take my pants off?" Nathan asked with a playful smirk, snapping me out of my mental bickering with the three horny wolves.
Fully realizing I was checking him out, blood rush to my face, and I scowl my teenage hormones, along with those darn wolves. "Wait, your pants?"
"Yeah, would you like me to take them off?" he asked in a severe tone.
"Why would you think I want you to take them off?"
"Because you look like you want to pounce me, and I like these sweats. I don't want them to be ripped off," he said, mildly biting his lips, a single edge curving into a teasing smile.
I gave him a blank look. "W-What?"
Tucking his thumb into the side of his sweats, he started pulling it down.
I placed my hands up in the air and leaped back. "What are you doing?" I yelled and covered my eyes.
"Well, I did ask twice, and you didn't say no, so I'm assuming it's a yes," he said.
"It's no! Put your pants back on!" I told him, but I couldn't help but take a sneak peek through my fingers.
'A little sneak peek doesn't hurt anyone, right?' Kimberly squeaked.
'Move those fingers!' Emerald shouted.
′ Everything from the hair on his head to the nail on his toe belongs to us; we can stare all we want!′ Elizabeth shrieked.
'I want that D,' Kimberly growled, attempting to crawl out, but I pushed her back in.
'We aren't desperate.'
′You aren't! We are!′ they shouted.
My mouth gaped open as I trail my eyes downward. Right in front of me was Nathan's package, playing an R-rate game of peek a boo.
I must admit I am quite impressed. If it looks like that when it's not excited, who knows what it will look like when it is?
'We can test that theory out right now,' Emerald suggested, and the other two agreed with her.
He followed my eyes and realized that his package was poking out of his boxer. "Sorry mini-me likes to come out and play sometimes," he chuckles.
I moved my eyes away from his mini-me and looked at him. He stood there with folded arms and a grin on his face. You can tell he has no shame. He is 100% utterly proud of it.
"Tell mini you to back inside the house! No one is going to play with him today!" I turned around, attempting to focus on the wall, feeling my ears burning red, core throbbing for him.
'No! Turn around!' Kimberly whined, and the other two started howling in desperation.
"Oh, not today? What about tomorrow?" I can hear the amusement in his voice, indicating he is enjoying the situation we are in.
"Nathan!" I shrieked.
"Okay. Okay. How about Friday?"
"Nathaniel!"
"Alright, I'm just playing. I'll get dress," he mumbled.
To be honest, I could've walked out the door, and we wouldn't be discussing his mini-me. But, he is hot, and I'm a female with raging hormones, so I decided to do the illogical thing and stayed.
After Nathan got dressed, we went downstairs for breakfast. Smelling something extremely heavenly, my stomach let out a loud growl. I can hear Nathan trying to stifle a laugh. When we got downstairs, I saw several other wolf members. Considering that they are here early, must mean they live here.
'Should I try to get acquainted?'
'The answer is no, too much work,' Elizabeth responded.
'We got Nathan. He is all we need. f**k the rest,' Emerald included.
'Sit on Nathan's lap!' Kimberly yelped, and the others started mumbling words of agreement.
'Shut up! You guys are giving me a migraine!" I shouted, and they all clamp their mouth shut.
As I walk to the counter, scanning for food, Ethan came up to me. "Hi Luna!" he beamed me a youthful smile. I know, I'm young, but considering I lived several lives, I'm basically a super senior citizen. I look at him, blinded by his youthful glow.
"Sup," I lifted my neck slightly toward him. "By the way. Call me, Aria. I'm not Luna."
"Yet," he pointed a finger in the air as his smile widen.
I turned and looked at Nathan. He stood there, smiling at the conversation I'm having with Ethan. Grabbing all the food I want, which includes three pancakes, an egg, two sausages, and a bowl of fruits. I made my way to the table. I sat down with a brown hair guy and a black-haired girl. Nathan walked up and growled at the brown hair guy, he instantly stood up and walked to the other side of the table.
Dude needs to chill.
Nathan sat down, smiling at me. I let out a deep breath and started eating. I turn towards an older lady who was cooking the food.
I smiled, "Thank you. This is delicious."
She smiled back and slightly bows. She must be an omega. One of the things I don't like about the werewolves community is their hierarchy. Alpha and Luna, Beta, Gamma, fighters, regular wolves, and finally omegas. They are kind of similar to slaves, where they are looked down upon by other wolves. I can't do anything about it, though. Every species has its own hierarchy, even humans.
After finishing my breakfast, I attempt to do the dishes, only to have another omega beg me to let her do it. She said she didn't want to get into trouble; she physically went on her knees. It was incredibly heartbreaking to watch.
Nathan had to do his alpha work, so he left me with a guard. I meant guards. He wants to make sure I don't run away. He is so stupid, where would I run? My siblings and best friend are here. If Nathan doesn't hunt me down, they will.
I took a walk around the community to check it out. I can hear the shuffling feet of guards.
"Guys, can you at least walk more discreetly so I can pretend you're not behind me?" I said slightly irritated. No one will approach me because of them. It's tough enough to be known as a human and sibling of two hunters, but now everyone thinks I'm supposedly Luna too.
"Sorry, Luna, we will try our best to walk quieter," he stated with a slight bow.
"Aria! Call me, Aria!" I shouted again. Twenty minutes into my walk, and everyone keeps calling me Luna. I asked them to call me Aria, and they vigorously shook their head.
He frowned, "Luna, please understand our situation. Alpha Nathaniel will be unhappy if we call you that."
I let out an exaggerated groan and continue walking. My eyes scanned around, seeing some other wolves, glaring at me in a displeasing manner. I'm not surprised, they were raised in the strongest pack in this country, and here they have a human as a Luna. Humans are considered weak compared to other species, due to our inability to have any sort of power.
"This b***h got another thing coming if she thinks Alpha Nathaniel will stay with her," one muttered bitterly under her breath.
"Yeah, a f*****g human thinks she can order around? I don't think so, let's show Alpha Nathaniel she isn't worthy of him," the other said.
Another girl smirks at me, "Let's see if Alpha Nathaniel will love a slut who spreads their legs to every pack member and perhaps even the neighboring one."
They must have thought I didn't hear them since they are at a reasonable distance, and I'm supposedly a human with limited hearing. My eyes scanned at the guards around me, who was glaring at them, probably heard their conversation. Suddenly, the girls froze and shook their heads towards them. I listened to a few of the guards growl at them, and they started running away.
"That w***e probably slept with the guards already," one of the girls muttered under her breath, eyes staring at the ground.
"f*****g trash," the other mumbled, and I watch as they all disappear into the forest.
The guards looked at me. "Something wrong, Luna?"
I shook my head and continued walking towards a random destination. As I walk into town, I realize many werewolves were gathering to watch something. I smiled, knowing I can use this diversion to my advantage.
I walked towards the crowd and saw two males fighting each other. Steadily, I slip closer to them, eyes roaming around, ensuring the guards aren't suspicious of my actions, I made it look like I was getting closer to them merely out of curiosity. Suddenly, one of the men whacks my face when the other one dodge.
"What the f**k!" One of the guards yelled. He stomps over and grabs the werewolf by the neck. "How dare you do that to our Luna!" He screamed into the man's face.
I can see sweats glisten and slight tears forming in his eyes as he gasps for air. I feel kind of evil, but I know they won't kill him, maybe.
Using the distraction, I slowly slipped away. I smiled until I heard a loud, nervous voice. "Where is Luna?!"
Immediately, I dashed into the woods. I can hear their heavy footsteps behind me. Hearing bones crackle, I concluded they are shifting into their wolves. I wanted to run faster, but that would raise suspicions. I attempt to outsmart them, but there are ten of them, so it is quite tricky.
Before I knew it, they surrounded me. Some were growling, others whimpering. I raised my hands in the air interpreting it as - I surrender -
A smell instantly hits me, devious ocean and forest. I look in the direction of the scent, and there stood a giant brown wolf. I can see his eyes flickering from black to hazel, but in the end, it merged into a dark brown twisting with anger, betrayal, and a hint of sadness.
He heads towards a large tree, bones cracking. Nathan walked out, wearing a pair of red basketball shorts hanging on his hips. I wanted to gawk at his hot body, but I couldn't help staring at my feet.
"Aria, look at me," he said in a gravelly voice.
I held my hands behind my back and started kicking rocks.
"Aria, look at me," he said slower with a more threatening tone
I lifted my head and saw the rage burning in his eyes as it flickers from brown to black.
"You tried to run away. Why?" He narrowed his eyes at me as he took a step forward.
I stood there and continued kicking rocks. "I wasn't running away. I just wanted to take a breather in the woods," I said, puffing air into one side of my cheek.
"You could've taken a breather with the guards. It's dangerous out here, Aria! You could've gotten hurt!" He scolded.
I let out a deep breath of air, tightening my fists. "Nathan, I don't need guards! I told you I wouldn't run!"
"It's for your safety," I flinch, hearing his teeth grinding one another.
I slightly chuckled at his answer, while exaggeratedly rolling my eyes. No, you put them around me to trap me, ensuring I won't go anywhere. I know he is keeping an eye on my every move. What more, I know that every guard he sends me is a mated wolf, ensuring I won't get marked by an unmated one.
While rolling my eyes, I was actually scanning for an escape. Just one day, I need one day to myself, to think about my current situation. When I'm with Nathan, I can't think straight. All I can f*****g think about is how amazing it would be to ride his d**k, that's all I could think about!
I noticed a small gap between the two guards. I walk back and forth, pretending to be angry and frustrated. "Nathan, don't you get it?! I don't need protection! I'll stay on your land. At your school. In your pack. I won't go anywhere." I dramatically threw my arms up in the air, discreetly pacing closer to the gap.
I glanced at Nathan, noticing guilt was written all over his face, eyes falling on my bruised cheek. I took the chance when he wasn't looking at me and dashed. I understand that this is making me untrustworthy, but I need some time alone. I need to figure things out. My wolves are going nuts when I'm with him; it's getting harder to control them.
I heard a loud growl, but I didn't turn around. I ran a bit faster than usual humans and took routes harder for wolves to go through, but it was futile. This is his woods; he knows every inch around here. I felt an arm wrap around my waist, and I attempt to struggle, but without using my powers, it was useless.
"Stop!" he yelled as his arms tighten around my waist. I looked up, and his face was red with anger.
"You ran again!" He threw me over his shoulders and sprint towards the main Pack House. I would continue struggling, but I knew it was pointless.
Nathan slammed open the front door and started heading towards his room. Rough footstep echoing throughout the house. I looked up, and everyone was looking elsewhere. They must have mind link each other regarding the situation.
He placed me down in his room then started pacing back and forth, running a hand through his hair. "Why!? Why!? You promise you won't leave!"
I bit the inside of my cheeks. "I never promise that," I mumbled.
Nathan's lip twitches slightly as his eyes flicker black a lot faster, indicating that he had heard me. He moves slowly toward me, planting his chest in front of my face. I didn't look up as I feel his hot breath on the top of my head. I can smell his scent; it was intoxicating. Too intoxicating. Too dangerous. Maybe I should transfer back to my old school. Cynthia doesn't need me here; she has a mate who will protect her.
"You're planning again, aren't you," he whispered.
"No, I wasn't," I huffed out, feeling my heart racing
"Yes you are darling," he said in a menacing voice
Terror began to saturate every cell in my body as it shriek, run! My wolves firmly planted their ground, growling at me to stay.
I gradually lifted my head. "Ace?" I squeak, seeing his eyes completely darken.
He smirks, "Pleasure to see you again, darling."
