CHAPTER 3

"Sir, she is your new PA, Miss Night Rae." The manager informed him respectfully.

Blaze didn't realize when he was so involved in her beauty that he forgot where he was, and the people around him. He was able to compose himself only when the manager spoke.

Night Rae... Blaze watched her intensely, whispering her name silently. Blaze suddenly realized what he was doing. He was being too involved with a girl he didn't even know anything about.

Blaze, control yourself! Don't be seduced by her innocent appearance. All woman loves to pretend to be pure but they are far from that! Every girl in this world is the same! Be professional and teach her how to be more responsible.

"This irresponsible girl is going to be my PA? So Miss Night, why did you come so early? You could have come here when you feel like." He gritted his teeth in anger. He was trying not to yell at her.

Night is naive, When she heard her boss saying this, she was relieved, she thought that he meant what he said, Night smiled sweetly at him and said, "Really, Sir? If I knew this earlier then I could have finished my sleep instead of running here so early in the morning." She pouted her red lips complaining, "I am still so sleepy." She yawned.

Everyone else in this office knew about her kind, sweet and childish nature, so they didn't feel anything about it. They looked normal.

But Blaze was surprised by her innocent words, she made him speechless for a moment, "Unbelievable! How could someone like you work here being so dumb?"

Night was shocked by his sudden outburst, she looked down in fear, "Sir, actually- "

"Shut up! I will not hear any kind of excuse. Manager, this better be the last time, if not, I will fire every one of you. If you want to keep your job be more responsible. Now get lost!"

Everyone left in a hurry. They didn't want to be punished.

Night also went inside her cabin to work, "What a jerk! What is his problem? He insulted me in front of everyone. What was the need to be so angry? I didn't try to cover up my mistake, I was really in traffic. But he didn't even bother to listen to me. In his opinion, I should never be in traffic? Devil!"

Night kept working while cursing him, suddenly her phone started to ring, "Hello, who is calling me now?" She answered without looking who called her.

"Night, it's me."

On the screen when she saw the name of the caller, "Hello, how are you?"

"What happened, Night? Why aren't you answering my calls? I have been calling you since last night."

Night was confused, "Why were you calling me anyway? I didn't charge my phone so my phone was off. And today, our new boss was here to give me a hard time. I couldn't answer your call because now I was busy working so I won't get fired from this job."

Kevin laughed hearing her irritated tone, "OK, don't be angry. Did you have your breakfast yet?"

"Yeah, don't worry. Listen I have to work, I can't talk right now. I will talk to you later when I go home."

"Wow, look at you, you have become all professional. I think it's the effect of the new boss. Bye, take care of yourself."

Night smiled, "OK, bye."

The call Night received was from her best friend Kevin. They have been friends for years now.

Night liked his personality, he was funny and nice. He always makes sure that she is happy. She has always thought of him as a very good friend. But Kevin doesn't think of her as a friend. He loves her. He has confessed to her many times. She has rejected him many times, but seeing him so persistent, she agreed to go on a date with him. After that day, Kevin has decided they should try to date to make her fall for him.

Night just nodded her head agreeing, it's not like they will end up together because she knew that she didn't like him that way. She just sympathizes with him because she knows that he loves her.

They have not go out on a date yet. They meet as regular friends. Night never said anything about being his girlfriend. But for Kevin, they went out to get her few times. She doesn't hold hands with him, let alone let him kiss her. Night is a very conservative girl, before marriage, she will never let any man touch her. But Kevin never complained, he loved her a lot. He wants her to fall for him. So he always respected her privacy.

Sometimes she thinks that this kind of relationship is not good for both of them. She doesn't even love him. She just likes him as a friend.

Night sighed deeply then hanged up her phone only to see Blaze King standing right behind her. His eyes were completely red like a monster.

Seeing this kind of monster appearance of her new boss, Night felt her soul run out of her body. She was frightened by him.

"S-Sir, what are you doing here?" Night asked him feeling scared. Oh god, where did this Devil come here?

Blaze walked closer to her and said, "Yes, it's me. We're you hired in this company so you can chat with your friends and not working?"

"Sir- I" Night stammered in fear.

Blaze hit hard on the table next to her and said, "Actually what, you i***t! Just answer me, damn it!"

"Sir... I"

"I don't understand why my father kept such an useless, irresponsible, stupid employee. This is disappointing."

Hearing Blaze talking to her so angrily, Night wanted to cry, this is the first time someone has talked to her in this manner. This man is so rude. He kept insulting her for god knows how long...

Night somehow managed to compose herself and said, "Sir, this will never happen again, I promise."

"I am not here to give you another chance, your first and last chance to keep this job is gone. You are fired. Get out of my office. Damn it, just get lost!" He yelled at her angrily before he left the office.

Night was in shock, what just happened? She has never been this humiliated before. She couldn't keep herself from crying anymore, she sobbed hard feeling pain in her chest.

"This can't be happening to me. Oh God, what am I going to do now? I can't lose this job. If I lose it, how am I going to treat my mother's illness." Night just kept crying while packing her stuff.

Blaze went to his own office and called the manager. He doesn't need someone who can't even do her job right. This kind of people will only create problems for him in the future.

The manager come and knocked on the door, "Sir, you asked for me?"

Blaze was working on his laptop, he spoke without looking at him, "Go and appoint a new PA for me as soon as possible."

"But sir, why would you appoint a new PA? What about Night?"

Blaze closed his eyes trying to stop the frustration, he felt inside, "I fired her, I don't an irresponsible employee like her in my office." He has no idea why he can't stand the sight of this girl. Why? She needs to leave before he does something to her.

The manager widens his eyes in surprise, "Sir, please don't fire her. She is very poor. She won't be able to treat her ill mother."

Blaze looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean?"

The old manager sighed, "Sir, she was young when her father died. Instead of continuing her studies, she started to work to pay off her mother's medical bills. Sir, give her one more chance, she needs this job, she is a very dedicated worker."

Blaze had no idea that this girl had so many problems in her life. He thought she was too naive but it seems he was wrong to judge her this quick. He shouldn't have rushed into firing her. But when he sees her he just loses his cool.

Blaze was in deep thought, "Go ask her to come and see me quickly. I will let her work here, but this is her last chance, if this happens again, she will be fired right away. Now get lost!�

"Yes Sir." The manager left the office to inform Night about this good news.

On the other hand, Night was packing her stuff while cursing her fate. "You Evil Monster, what is wrong with you? What do you want from me? The first day I meet him and he made me lose my job. Now, where will I find a good job?

At this moment, the manager comes with a smile on his face, "Night, sir is calling for you?"

"What happened now?"

"He wants to talk to you about work in his office."

Night was surprised, he wants to talk to her about work, "But why should I go? Didn't he already fired me?"

"Just go and see what he wants to say to you." After this, he left to do his job.

Night had no choice but to go and see what he wanted from her, "Why did he call for me again? I was leaving without a single word, but no, for him, the previous humiliation of me was not enough to make him happy. Now he wants to insult me more?"

When she finally reached the huge luxurious office of her boss, she knocked on the door, "May I come in, sir?"

"Come in."

When she went inside the room, she saw him working on his laptop attentively.

"Sir?"

"No response."

"Sir..." Seeing him completely ignoring her, she felt angrier.

What the hell? What is wrong with him. It was him who called her here to talk, now he is ignoring her like she didn't exist?

Night yelled wanting him to hear her, "Sir! You called for me!"

Blaze was startled by her sudden scream, "What the? Why did you scream like that?"

"Sir, I have been calling you for so long, but you were busy working on your laptop."

"So this is the reason why you were growling like a gorilla?"

After hearing Blaze's comment, Night was red with anger, she even made him die thousands of times in her mind. How long does she have to bear this man? When will she finally leave this place?

Suppressing her anger, "Sir, why did you call for me?"

"I want my coffee, black coffee without sugar."

Night was confused by his request, "But Sir, me?"

"Yes, you. There is no one else in here other than you, right?"

"But Sir, I can't do this because you have already fired me from my job."

"I did but now you just got your job back. I have a big heart, this is my charity for you, be grateful."

"What?" Arrogant Devil, how dare you talk to me like that? I have no choice, I am so helpless. No matter what I need this job so much. If my mother was not this seriously ill I would never work for this rich man again. So rude!

"Yes, you got your job back. But before that, I have a condition."

"Condition?"

"To keep this job you will do everything I order you to do."

"OK, Sir." For my mother, I will do everything this arrogant man says.

Night didn't notice when Blaze walked right in front of her, "Sir, what- what are you doing?"

Night was not able to speak another word. For the first time in her life, a man came this close to her. She felt so hard to breathe. Blaze come closer to her ear and whispered, "Remember, you will have to do everything I say. I mean it, everything."

"O..OK... sir..." God! Why is he so close? Why is he not moving away from her? She can't take this anymore, please stop standing so close!

"Now go and do as I say." Blaze went back to his chair to do to own work.

Night was completely surprised by his behavior.
