I entered the war room to find Alastair had shifted ready to attack. I probably should have mind linked them before entering the room, but I was so eager to see my children that I forgot. Alastair stood before me in beast form. When he saw me, he relaxed. I nodded to him, he bowed his head, acknowledging my presence.
“Queen Violet,” Harper gasped.
“Oh my god, where is everyone? Is everyone okay,” Felicity questioned, worry in her voice.
“Charles, Quinn, and Finn are all okay,” I replied.
“Mummy, what about Daddy,” Elisa asked, rushing over and wrapping her arms around my leg.
“Yes, what about Robert? What has happened to my son,” Alastair added, after he shifted back into human form.
“He is in the hospital now. He was badly wounded. I have healed him but he is going to be off his
