VIVIAN'S POV "What do you mean?" I asked. "Honey, sit down," my mother said, sitting on the bed and patting the space beside her. I stared at her, not able to move. I shook my head, stumbling backward. "Just tell me. I don't need to sit." She sighed. "It would be much easier if you weren't looking at me like I slapped you. Come on now.
