CHAPTER SEVEN Mila woke up in a start. Panting, she looked around the rocket, trying to get her bearings. They were dying, weren't they? No they were not, apparently. The status seemed to be the same, them dead in the water, in freefall. Flora was holding onto her waist, floating next to her, their clothes discarded and having floated all the way to the bulkhead on the opposite side of the bridge. Mila shook Flora violently. "Mmm? What? Five more minutes!" Flora complained, rubbing her face. "Flora! We're not dead?" "What?" "We're not dead!" "Okay. Can I sleep now?" she mumbled. "Flora!"
