“Do you find it boring?” Jayden asked in wonder, of course it would make sense for the boss to be just as tired, if not more than his employees, right?
“Not at all. I like my work, it’s the reason I started the business in the first place.” Daniel explained, “I have no reason to do something I dislike for the rest of my life.”
Those words might have sounded motivational to most people but to Jayden’s ears it sounded so much more depressing. “Well, not everyone can do what they like…” He muttered in a voice sounding like he was sick of it.
“That’s true…” Daniel said in a clear voice. “I don’t think everyone can work what they want for a living but, at the very least isn’t it better to do something you enjoy?” He asked as he tilted his head to the side.
