“What did you bring me all the way here for?” Caroline asked with a tone no less cold than the one she had been using up until this point.
“I need your assistance for a matter.” Daniel said as he leaned back comfortably on the sofa. He signaled to Jayden to leave the room.
The assistant nodded his head and quickly headed out.
“Is it a company matter?” Caroline asked, she thought it was odd for the man to ask the assistant to leave.
“It’s a personal one.” Daniel replied calmly. “Will you be able to help me?” He asked, his voice sounding indifferent but sincere.
