The ride home was uneventful, Isla spent most of her time sleeping on my arm. I dreaded speaking to Palmer and David, I didn’t feel like explaining to Isla’s grandfather and brother how I am now and Alpha. Plus, the fact that my mark is now on her and my scent all over her. Jesus if she was my granddaughter or sister I would kill the fucker who dared to touch her.
This was going to be very uncomfortable, and David might kill me, but that will be harder now seeing as I am now an Alpha.
