Axel
Walking away from her is always hard, but today she is outside of her home and I'm having a hard time not staying near in order to watch her and insure she is safe. However, we may need to build a home of our own so we can stick around for a while. After everything I know, I can't leave here without her and if she doesn't go, this might somehow end up being our home as well. Its not pleasant but we have lived off the wildlife for many years, drinking their blood when needed in order to hide who we are and survive. Running his hands through his hair, he can't help but stress about eventually needing to tell her what they are and how to do it.
As if reading his mind, Ebbe grabs his shoulder. "Axel, calm down, it will work out she was made for you. Just take your time and don't over whelm her." "Easy for you to say. You don't feel like going back and carrying her everywhere because she was just hurt and now all you can think about is protecting her. What am I going to do Ebbe? You realize we may have to build a home for ourselves so I can stay close to her?" Nodding Ebbe says "Axel .. Brother, it will be ok. You know I will help any way I can. It is a good thing to find that one person who will walk with you till the end of time. Stop stressing we have time." "We can build a home on the outskirts so we have the privacy we need. I will find out as much as I can. We will need to do this soon. I can see storms on the horizon."
Deciding he can't be that far away from Morgan, he stops walking and looks back towards her home. "I will catch up with you later Ebbe, I have something I need to do" Ebbe, smiling, lifts his hand in goodbye and continues walking towards the pub. Turning around, he walked back towards the direction Morgan and Duncan went. It doesn't take him long to find them, since she is still recovering from being hit in the head so hard and is unsteady on her feet. Duncan, seeing him, smiles "Axel back so soon are we?" rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly, he nods "I was wondering if it would be alright if I walk with Morgan a little?" Morgan looks up her eyes widening a bit. He can see her pupils dilate as her face blushes slightly. "That would be up to Morgan." Duncan says looking to her. "Uhh umm aye I suppose it would be fine". Grining brightly, Duncan hands her over to Axel with a wink. He says "If I am needed, I will be fixing your sword."
Taking her hand and placing it on his forearm for support and placing his other hand over hers Axel smiles down at her. "How are you feeling" "Besides my face hurting, I am doing fine. Thank you for saving me. I remember you picking me up before I passed out." "Its no problem. I seen them acting suspiciously since i have been wandering in these hills for sometime. I knew that meant nothing good." "I think I am still in shock a bit. I knew Angus made them mad the night before but ..." stopping, Axel turns to her putting his pointer finger gently under her chin, lifting her face to look at him. "You did nothing wrong, the boys did as they should to protect you, and now I will do the same. No one will harm you again." As she looks up at him he can see the questions in her eyes and the lust as she scans his face as if trying to figure out if he is lieing "But why? I am no one, just a bar maid." "and?" he deadpans. "I am just a man wandering the hills far from his home." Standing so close to her he wanted to kiss her plump lips to feel the softness of her against him. He could feel he started as he to strain against his pants. 'I must stop thinking this way right now she is healing', he thought to himself. He stepped back and motioned for them to begin walking again. "Will you be moving on soon?" Morgan asked in a quiet voice. "No, we are thinking of building a small home on the outskirts before the weather becomes too cold." The continued walking slowly until he could see she was getting tired.
"Would you like me to take you back home?" "Aye I think I should lay down. My head is hurting. I'm sure you have better things to do than babysit me." looking at her as they walk, smiling at her and says "No, this is the best day I have had in a long time." Looking up at him she smiles back. As they near her home, he helps her inside and starts the fire for her so she will be warm, making sure to put enough wood to last a few hours. "Thank you Axel, but why are you helping me so much. We are strangers." She asks as she watches him. Standing up and brushing the dirt off of himself, he grins at her "Because I have taken an interest in your wellbeing." "In my wellbeing why? I don't understand?" Kneeling infront of her, he puts his hands on her knees lightly and looks into her eyes "From the moment I saw you I knew I needed you in my life." "But.." Putting his pointer finger on her lips lightly, he says "shhh .. there is no other explanation I can give you right now." Kissing her lightly on her lips he runs his finger lightly across her jaw as he holds her gaze. "I will always be here for you. I will let Duncan know you are home. I must speak to the clan elders and start building my home" Picking her up carefully bridal style he carries her across the house and lays her on her bed softly "Rest.. I will be back in a bit to check on you." He says, pulling her blanket over her and brushing the hair out of her face softly. Kissing her on her forehead, he turns and leaves, shutting the door behind him.
Morgan
Once the door shut she placed her fingers on her lips, still feeling his soft lips on hers, the light tingle when he pressed his lips on hers. She feels so absolutely confused by the lust she has for this man. How can someone his size be so powerful and strong yet tender and soft. The way seeing him makes her heart beat faster and her core tighten with need is something she had never experienced. Watching him as he gracefully moved around the house she couldn't help but stare at his amazing body. His long hair with braids and the beautiful beard that graces his face. When he bent over to place wood in the fireplace, she couldn't help but squeeze her legs together in need as she felt the fire start in her belly. But when he lifted her from the chair to place her in bed to rest, she had never felt so safe and calm. Somehow, this man lit a fire in her soul that she just didn't understand. As her eyes fluttered closed, the only thing she can think about is this tall gorgeous man who somehow had an interest in her. Smiling to herself, she let herself drift off into the darkness hoping to dream of his body pressed against her.
