“Everything’s going well…” Valerie said with a smile on her face. The bakery was once again half full with people and it filled her up with job. However due to the fact they were understaffed all three of them had to work.
“I know right! I’m happy to see so many customers here today.” Amy said in a cheery tone as she left the next order to Brian.
“It’s good and all, but why am I the only one behind counter? I’d do well on the floor!” Brian complained in a lighthearted manner.
“Quiet there and concentrate on the next order.” Valerie commanded as she turned to the next table.
“I’m glad to see everyone in such high spirits.” Amy remarked as she glanced at Brian.
“I heard it’s a special day today.” Brian replied, then pointed at a special order.
