Brian followed the person to his car and was soon driven to the main office of the Barlowe’s Conglomerate. ‘This place is huge…’ He thought as he saw the large building.

The enormous building was approximately 650,000 square meters and 115 floors, it’s the workspace for more than 11,000 employees within its walls. Making it the largest office space in the country and in the world...

“Get out.” The man commanded after opening the other’s door.

“No need to be rude… I’m coming here willingly.” Brian said as he got out of the car. The closer they got to the building the stronger his hatred grew. Brian had an undying distain towards all powerful individuals. In his eyes people like that were nothing but rich snobs. The same people that forced his father into the debt, that now Brian has to carry; a burden that he cannot rid himself from no matter how much he tries. As such he vowed to never have children because he resents the thought of making them experience the same misery and poverty he had gone through.

So what was this situation now? He stood in front of the man that seemed somehow different than everyone else.

‘He’s not just a Mature Alpha… no more powerful… a pureblood? Impossible…’ Brian couldn’t believe his own senses but he clearly felt the man that turned to him was extremely powerful.

“You’re my mate, huh?” Harvey stood up and looked the man up and down. “Nothing special…” He muttered, then commanded. “Release your pheromones.”

“I don’t take kindly to people telling me what to do.” Brian said in a calm voice. The reason he was asked to release his pheromones was because the other knew he was hiding them on purpose.

“Don’t make me repeat myself… Your pheromones, now.” Harvey said in an even deeper voice as he commanded the man.

“Listen to him!” The man in black that was still in the office yelled at the other.

“I don’t like repeating myself either… So stop telling me what to do.” Brian said still in a calm voice, he crossed his arms and sat down on a free chair. “I’m here to talk about you taking over the bakery. I’ll ask politely for you not to touch it, it’s how I make a living after all.”

“What insolence!” The man in black said as he looked at the other’s carefree attitude. He released his pheromones to make the other submit to his demands.

“Huh? Are you trying to make me listen? You weakling…” Brian however was completely unaffected by the pheromones emitted by the man dressed all in black.

‘This is impossible… They don’t work on him?!’ The man wondered to himself and released even more concentrated pheromones. But it still didn’t work.

“Leave.” Harvey commanded as he turned to the man that was releasing the pheromones.

“But… It’s dangerous to be left alone with him!” The man in black insisted.

“I said… Leave.” Harvey didn’t even bother sparing another glance at the man as he left.

“So Mature Alpha’s pheromones don’t work on you…” Harvey said to the Omega sitting in his office.

“Correction, no pheromones work on me. Now sit down and let’s talk like grown men.” Brian said as he took control of the situation.

“Haha… You think you have the right to order me around?” Harvey was becoming increasingly irritated. “You dare come here and act so arrogant?”

“It’s not arrogance, but confidence. You can’t make me submit with your pheromones, so step back.” Brian said as he felt the other moving closer behind him.

“What makes you so sure?” Harvey began releasing his pheromones. Moving closer to the other person he stepped confidently until he was at a breath’s distance from him.

“Simply because… Just as you are a pureblood Alpha… I on the other hand am a pureblood Dominant Omega, now stand down.” Brian commanded as he released his pheromones as well. He was completely unaffected by the Alpha’s pheromones as he stood up and looked at the other. Both of them were standing so close they could kiss, but they were having a fight.

The entire room was filled with two extremely strong pheromone scents. If there was another person in the room, they might have already died because of the overwhelming amount of pheromones. The scent could overpower hundreds of people if they were to come in contact with it.

‘What? He’s completely fine…’ Harvey thought to himself as he watched the other’s determined eyes. On the other hand his own strength was withering away ever so slightly. ‘This can’t be… His strength can rival my own… no… even exceed it…’

This was a situation Harvey had never been confronted with. The man standing confidently in front of him had more power than he did. ‘It must be some kind of mistake…’ He thought to himself, but no matter how much more pheromones he released, the other wouldn’t budge.

“Now… Stand back.” With those simple words that Brian said, the other male took a step back and held onto his head.

“Ugh…” Harvey had a great headache from the other’s overpowering scent.

“Are you ready to listen to me already?” Brian said as he stopped his pheromones. “Look I was even kind enough to show you my pheromones~” He said in a cheery tone and went to sit back on his chair.

“You are different…” Harvey said as he stood up, he felt instantly better after the other stopped releasing his scent. “Different than all the other Dominant Omegas…” He had seen other omegas like the man in front of him, but this was a first time he saw a pureblood.

“I know, I know… But I’m not here to talk about how awesome I am. I’m telling you I want the bakery to stay in Valerie’s possession.” Brian quickly said his terms to the other.

“Then… if that’s your wish I can grant it, under one condition…” Harvey said in a professional tone, he went behind his desk and took out a stack of papers.

“What’s the condition?” Brian asked as he observed the other’s movements.

“Marry me and bear my child…” Harvey replied as he handed the documents to the other. It was a contract with the terms of the marriage proposal.

“Ha! Yeah right, ruin my body for the likes of you. Do you know how difficult it is to have a child?” Brian laughed at the other’s face.

“Then the bakery will go under. It’s your choice.” Harvey said in a calm voice.

“Do you think I’m an i***t or some kind of saint? I’m not going to do it just for the bakery, what else can you offer?” Brian said in a businesslike tone.

“So you’re willing to negotiate?” Harvey asked as he leaned back in his black leather chair.

“Of course, if you give me a good deal.” Brian wasn’t completely averse to this proposal but wanted better conditions at the very least.

“Then what do you desire?” Harvey asked, “I can grant you anything in the world.” He continued ever so condescendingly.

“I want a good life, 50,000$ in cash and after I have the child, that will be the end of our entanglement.” Brian said in a cold voice then paused for a moment before continuing. “You must also treat my child with the greatest care, or else I’ll take it with me as well.”

“Is that so… Then you want 50k a month and a promise that I will take good care of the child. Is that all?” Harvey asked as he wrote in down on his laptop.

‘Hm? A month? I only meant for 50,000$ as a one-time thing, but if he has that kind of money than who am I to refuse?’ Brian thought to himself and then quickly agreed. “Yes, also… You have to treat me well before and during the pregnancy. I will not remain here if you mistreat me even for a second.” Brian said confidently.

“Before and during… Then what about after?” Harvey asked as he quoted the other’s words.

“After… there will be no after… You and I will not meet again.” Brian said as he stood up. He already had a great distain for the person in front of him.

“I’ll accept your terms but it might not go as you plan. You do know who I am, right?” Harvey however was overly confident, he stood proud and wanted to flaunt his dominance.

“Such cocky words for someone that couldn’t even stand minutes ago...” Brian mocked the other as he headed towards the door.

“Those who cannot stand on their own will forever be subservient to those who can.” Harvey said in a dominating voice as he stood towering over the other male.

However, his cruel words served only to further the other’s resistance…

“Do not tell me what to do. I do not belong to you, nor anyone.” Brian said angrily, he hated the man in front of him. The mere sights of Harvey brought nothing but displeasure.

“You’ll follow my orders soon enough. You don’t have a choice in the matter, my mate.” Harvey continued with his condescending tone. He seemed unable to care less about the other’s opinion.

“I already said I won’t! I’m sick of listening to you.” Brian attempted to leave but guards were blocking his path right outside the door.

“I said…” Harvey moved closer to the other and whispered into his ear. “You don’t have a choice...”

Brian was frustrated by the situation he was in. All he could think about was how he ended up like this. ‘What in the world did I do wrong to get stuck with this man?!’

But even so, he still had a good deal out of the entire mess. ‘If this will get me out of poverty then it’s the least I can do…’ He thought as he turned to the other and kissed him. “Mmm…” As their tongues intertwined, he also released his pheromones.

After about thirty seconds or so, Brian pushed the other away releasing him from the kiss, also simultaneously stopping his pheromones as well. “So how was that? Good enough to seal the deal?” He asked in a cheeky voice.

Harvey blushed after the kiss, he still felt a sweet aftertaste from the other’s lips. ‘Just how strong is he?’ He wondered as he stared down at the male. The guards that were standing behind the other were now kneeling on the ground unable to withstand the pheromones.

“Speechless, eh? Then I’ll be leaving darling~” Brian said with a smile on his face as he skipped the men that were on the ground. He left the building soon after…

‘I guess I’ll be starting up a new life then…’ Brian thought to himself…
