On the next day, Brian came into work as usual. ‘It’s crowded today as well…’ He thought to himself as he saw how many people were trying to get inside and the bakery wasn’t even opened yet.
After he entered through the backdoor where the staff came in from, he was greeted by his manager who had a concerned expression on her face. “Um… Brian…” She said.
“Yes? Is something the matter Boss?” Brian asked, confused as to what’s making the woman look so anxious first thing in the morning.
“I know you’re doing this for us… and it’s really great but aren’t you giving too much money away?” Valerie said as she pointed at even more luxurious boxes. This time they weren’t strawberries but all kinds of fruits that were delivered less than an hour ago.
