The only thing Lynn could hear at that moment was the train’s rhythmical movement and his own loudly beating heart. He felt like he was being crushed under an enormous amount of weight as he waited for the man’s response.
He knew full well that Amanda had nothing against relationships of that sort, but had no idea what Albert’s thoughts were on the matter.
‘Is he going to get angry?’ Lynn wondered as he continued to try to calm his heart that was threatening to explode at any second.
