Lauren’s POV
Since I have already fulfilled my important duties the past week, my superior aka, Sir David allowed me to take a half-day of work for this another long and dreadful day. Before I start dragging myself to Dr. Allina Dane’s office, I decided to start my day like what I would do if I wasn’t a detective in charge of catching the one I share a space with: late.
But, I will make sure to start my day with a smile.
