Lauren’s POV:
Awkwardness.
I recognized awkwardness between us now that I am inside his room and he just invited over for a dinner. There’s something about Mason that doesn’t sit right, especially since I found him laying unconsciously on the floor earlier.
After the wristwatch incident, I don’t think I could erase my suspiciousness towards him. I know that the chances of him and Eric Snyder having the same wristwatch is quite low since that brand isn’t really that limited edition but the coincidence of it is killing me.

“Are you sure there isn’t anything else that could be useful?” I remember asking Edward earlier that day when we went with the CSI unit to investigate the scene where I chased the suspected Eric Snyder.
“Nothing that we know of…” Edward replied briefly before
