Three Years Ago The sun was bright in the morning sky as Josie trudged along a path in the forest. Her rucksack refused to stay on her shoulder and the wheels of her suitcase ungracefully rolled along and made her little hike quite the task. She came to a fork in the path and stopped with an exhausted huff. “Awesome." Her voice shook as she plopped down into the dirt. “This is just what I needed. Can't go back to town and now, I'm pretty sure I'm lost." For the first time since things came to a boiling head, she allowed her tears to fall.
