“You did pretty good today,” Adam said, flicking off the open sign five minutes after two that afternoon. Galaxy slumped down in a chair. “I’m exhausted. My feet hurt, my legs hurt, my arms hurt. Geez, everything hurts.” Adam chuckled. “Yeah, welcome to my everyday life. You’re lucky though, you don’t have to come back until Wednesday.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “And for that I’m grateful.
