Chapter 1 Ten Years Later The loud, pounding, squealing rock music shook the wineglasses in Galaxy Winthrop’s kitchen and gave him a splitting headache. He’d gotten migraines for much of his life and this one was going to be a doozy. He tossed the paintbrush he’d been using in the cup of thinner and scooted back his chair. So much for getting anything done. He pulled out the cloth he used to wipe his gold-framed glasses and wiped the smudges off the lenses.
