Hailey's POV
In the afternoon, I heard my door opened... Maya entered the room with a tray in her hands. After the morning incident, this is the first time she came to my room.
Her hand was wrapped with a bandaid. Her face looked pale...
I sat on my bed as she approached me...
She kept the tray in front of me silently...
Without saying anything, I started eating. I was not hungry at all. But I was not brave enough to take a risk.
After eating, I took medicine also.
Then she bent towards me to take the tray.
"Maya..." I spoke to her with a trembling voice. I was not sure if she is pissed off with me after what that monster tried to do.
