Four f*****g weeks, and Ayla is still unconscious. Her body has been improving, the wounds on her back left her scarred.
The branding burnt on her tight, healed leaving the word traced in a soft pink color. What scares me the most are those injuries that can't be seen with the naked eye.
The psychological damage, the fear that was infused into her, was enormous. Now I know that what I felt on the cliff was just a small amount of what she experienced, and up until this day, I still have nightmares about it.
