DAMIEN’S POV The frown on my face doesn’t fade as I get more concerned about what she wanted to say. “Did anything happen?” I raise my brow. “Um…no, nothing happened…I just—” She hesitates. “Isa….you can talk to me, if something is wrong, you just have to tell me” I probe. “Now you’re making it harder to say when you say stuff like that” She mutters, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. I sigh “What’s wrong Isa?” “I…” She begins “I can’t do this with you” She blurts. “W… what do you mean?” My brows fold. “It just doesn’t feel right Damien” She states looking up at me. “Look, I am in love with you, and I’m not going to deny that fact, but we…we can’t work” She continues.
