Chapter 17Assessing the situation, and listening to his instincts, Herne ambled leisurely back towards the doorway out of the lounge and leaned there casually, apparently perusing some paperwork. Instead he watched and waited. He could almost smell the deceit and discomfort in the room. He gave a grimace as he surreptitiously glanced at those in the room.
