Episode 11

The next day at work Bryce is in a very good mood and everyone notices, while some wonder why he is in such a jolly mood Dina guesses it has to do with a certain girl named Kiana. Nothing can ruin his good mood today, the world is suddenly a brighter place and great meaning has been added to his life. “Dina will you please order coffee and burgers for everyone I will foot the bill,” he offers. Dina is stunned by his generous offer, she can’t help but raise her eyebrows and pull her lips outward. “Hmm wow if only you could be this generous on a daily basis,” she teases.

Bryce phones Kiana after work asking her to meet with him at a restaurant of her choice but she asks for a rain check her excuse being she has a lot of school work to do. He understands although he is very disappointed, he cannot get enough of her and he is just dying to gaze into her beautiful almond eyes, to kiss her luscious soft lips and hold her in his arms. He sadly drives back to his home while trying hard to get her out of his mind as he worries he may end up going insane over longing for her.

At home he warms up his takeaways and has them for dinner seated quietly on his dinner table, the food seems to taste differently or maybe he has just lost his appetite. He acknowledges that he will not be able to sleep without seeing his lady love his whole being is yearning for her. It’s after ten pm in the evening when he gives in and decides to drive to her place. Once he gets there he pulls over and takes out his phone to call her at the same time praying she is not yet asleep and she will also pick up.

Kiana is seated by her desk busy finishing up her assignments and her phone is right next to her thus she doesn’t take long to pick it up. “Hey handsome, are you calling to say good night?” She blushes for she always gets aroused whenever his name appears on her screen. “Yes so how about a good night kiss?” “Oh babe I don’t believe in kissing through the phone,” “Neither do I that is why I’m waiting for you outside,”

“You are joking right?” She jumps from her seat and peeks outside through her bedroom window and she is astounded when she sees his car.

“Bryce you do know my parents are home right?” “Yes and I also know you are a smart girl and you can find a way or an excuse to get out of the house. Keep in mind that I’m not leaving until I see you and if you don’t come out in the next five minutes I’m going to knock on the front door,” he warns. “You wouldn’t dare.”

Kiana’s parents are strict and over protective of her hence she knows very well they wouldn’t accept her dating a man of Bryce’s age that is why she can’t tell them about him. When she quietly sneaks out of her bedroom she observes that no one is downstairs and assumes everyone must be in their bedrooms. She relaxes as she heads towards the front door to unlock it and rush outside.

“Bryce Adams please never do this again if you don’t want to get me in trouble with my parents,” she pleads as soon as she gets inside his car. He doesn’t say anything, he only smiles and stares at her in a desiring way. He then takes her right hand and kisses it he follows by reaching for her neck and using it to pull her closer to him as he kisses her hungrily and passionately.

He has been longing to do that the entire day, he automatically closes his eyes as passion, pleasure and satisfaction consume him.

After a long minute of wet kissing they pause to breathe, “I should probably go back inside before anyone notices I’m gone.” “Oh no! Babe you have no idea how I have missed you the entire day, please stay for five more minutes,” he prattles.

“But babe,” “Plea…se,” he pouts causing her to laugh. “Okay fine just five more minutes, so what do you want to talk about?” “I want to know why you didn’t want to see me today, are you mad at me for not making love to you yesterday?” “Of course not, like I told you I had a lot of assignments that are due tomorrow,” “Hmm okay, if you say so.” He gives her an unconvinced eye.

“Okay fine I admit it’s not just that, I was kind of avoiding you,” “Ha! I knew it but why babe?” he asks so softly that she feels bad for telling him that. “I’m embarrassed about trying to seduce you last night. The truth is I got carried away because being with you felt so damn good like nothing I have ever felt before. I literally lost my head and I completely forgot the fact that we just met I feel like I have known you my entire life." She pauses to smile at him.

"You make me feel so free and comfortable and not to mention the connection between us is very overwhelming,” she confesses. Bryce gently fondles her hand as he listens attentively, he doesn’t say a word because he doesn’t want to interrupt her as he observes that she is not yet done talking. He is flattered to hear the sweet words she is uttering and he wants to hear more of them it’s like music to his ears.

“I have been worried you might take me for a cheap or easy girl who sleeps with anyone on first dates I swear that is not who I am.” “Hey you need to take it easy Barbie, what you just said never crossed my mind not even for a second. I wouldn’t judge you for being consumed by the intoxicating chemistry between us especially when I feel the exact same way you feel about us. I am falling for you and I hope you will catch me,” he gives her a loving smile.

She gazes into his eyes and she is convinced he meant every word he said, he doesn’t judge her and he is also falling for her. She is happy and relieved to know her feelings are returned.

“Thank you for listening and for coming to see me you are too sweet,” she says as she pats his hand. “My pleasure now let’s get out of the car,” he orders. “Why?” “Because I’m dying to hold you in my arms and we can’t do that seated here with this handbrake in between our seats,” he responds as he pushes the door open.

They both get out of the car and meet in front of the car’s hood, he holds her hands as if he wants to say something to her but then he silently pulls her into a tight embrace.
