THE HONOURABLE MAN

Episode 16

Bryce doesn’t speak to Kiana about her pending birthday and she doesn’t want to say anything about it as well. The thought that he forgot about it did cross her mind but she wasn’t going to blame him if he did. She remembers she only mentioned her birthday once and that was on the first day they met when he asked how old she is, in fact she never mentioned the exact date but she did show him her ID and it’s highly likely that he didn’t check her date of birth, he was driving after all.

On her birthday he calls her to say good morning like he always does every day. A few hours later when she is seated in class a delivery man knocks on the door, after the Lecturer Mrs. Barry signals him to come in, he walks in and whispers a few words to her. In response Mrs. Barry motions to Kiana to attend to the delivery man, she is pleasantly surprised and chuffed whereas the whole class goes motionless as they enviously watch her saunter to the front to sign the delivery note and receive her gifts.

An expensive bouquet of beautiful mixed roses and carnations scent fills the whole class, everyone has their eyes on the huge neatly wrapped rectangle gift box. The lecturer who is a friendly middle aged woman is also curious to see what’s inside the box. “Since your delivery man has disrupted our class, the least you can do is show us what’s inside the box, what do you think class?” “Yeah,” the whole class hollers in unison.

Kiana is uncomfortable with opening her gift in front of everyone she would very much prefer to open her gift alone in privacy, what if it’s a pair of lingerie or something else that will get her embarrassed? And why did Bryce have to be such a show off by sending the delivery man to her class instead of home?

“Let me open it for you,” Alissa offers as she takes the box away from Kiana who is still lost in her thoughts. She enthusiastically unwraps the box right away and marvels at what she sees, she pulls out a dazzling cocktail dress for everyone to see, it’s a beige bodice crystal beaded long sleeved dress.

Then comes sizzling hot casual rivets studded peep toe buckle strap sandal boots with thin high heels. There is also a matching clutch bag and jewellery, a designer perfume, a box of expensive chocolates and a note that reads, “happy birthday my love may you please join me for dinner tonight.”

All the girls are drooling over her shoes and everything else in the box as they ask for details of who the hell she is dating and where on earth did she find him? The boys in the class are left intimated while some are left feeling challenged.

Mrs. Barry calls for order back in class and the lessons resume but Kiana’s mind is no longer in class, she is swooning over Bryce and all the wonderful things he keeps doing for her. He is definitely too good to be true and she wonders what good deed she did to deserve such a man.

In the evening Bryce is outside Alissa’s house leaning against his car with his legs crossed and his hands folded against his chest as he anxiously waits for the door to open and Kiana to come out. Kiana knew if her parents saw her in the expensive outfit he bought for her to wear, it would have become quite obvious that she is dating an older guy and they would have demanded to see him only to accuse him of taking advantage of their teenage daughter and then they would ground her and force her to stop seeing him again.

Her parents are not very trusting people, they are overly cautious and protective. This is why she decided to ask them for permission to spend the night of her birthday at her best friend’s house so that Bryce would pick her up from there.

Kiana takes her time to dress up and do her makeup, it’s her birthday and cheers to her last year as a teenager. Though she is a teen she feels like a woman reason being Bryce treats her and makes her feel like one. At last she is done and she is dazzled by the gorgeous woman staring back at her in the mirror. “I can’t believe this is me,” she whispers.

“You look too perfect, my gosh you are beautiful and I’m so glad you are my best friend,” Alissa crows as she gives her friend a very warm tight hug, indeed she is truly happy and excited for her.

Bryce hears the door creak open and he moves closer, he is held spellbound and enticed by Kiana’s alluring appearance. He got her size right that’s for sure, the dress fits her so perfectly as if it was sewn on her body. He cannot control his arousal, he cups her face in his hands and kisses her intensely leaving her breathless for a moment.

“Hie,” she heaves soon after he releases her mouth. “Hie,” he responds back while lustfully smiling at her. They hop in the car and drive off and after a few minutes on the road he pulls over to grab a black scarf from the back seat which he prepares to blind fold her. “What do you plan to do with that?” she wonders, “isn’t it obvious? I want to blind fold you,” “and why would you want to do that?”

“Because where I’m taking you is a surprise but don’t worry we are almost there so you won’t have to wear this for too long.” Kiana allows him to cover her eyes with the scarf before they get back on the road.

Five minutes later he lets her out of the car and takes off her blind fold, she gapes at the beautiful and huge picturesque double story house that’s in front of her, she is enthralled he has finally brought her to his house it makes her wonder if this means a huge step in their relationship?

“Wow so this is your house, I wasn’t expecting it to be like this oh babe its strikingly beautiful,” she compliments.

The inside of the house has her even more wide eyed, the man has a classy taste and he is wealthy no doubt, at his age it’s really admirable. He gives her a tour of his house, when they arrive at the backyard she chortles in disbelief as she is awe-struck by what she sees.

“Oh babe you did all of this for me?” She snivels before running into his arms for a heartfelt hug. There is an indescribable overwhelming feeling that he gets when she is in his arms, it is a foreign feeling to him that he has never felt before and he does not know what it is. He tilts her chin up and parts her lips with his tongue, kissing her makes him feel like he is flying in the sky and in that moment the world ceases to exist and nothing else matters besides him and Kiana.
