Bryce scratches his scalp upon hearing his wife's response. Its not what he was hoping to hear and now he is more convinced that the conversation will not go well. "I'm sorry to disturb you sweetheart but it's important that we talk right away," he insists.
"Alright then, shoot...I'm listening," she says as she attentively peers at her husband.
"What has Janet done now?" She asks as she crosses her hands over her chest. "I'm not sure how true this is but Sam just reluctantly informed me that Janet will be getting released from prison soon," he states.
Kiana gapes with astonishment, she falls back to her chair. "How is that even possible? I'm sure Sam is mistaken," she twists her lips with confusion.
"It doesn't look that way," Bryce says.
"Well...honey...we can't let that happen, we have to do something about this," she darts her eyes from left to right as if thinking of a solution.
"What can we possibly do when we don't even know what's going on and what connections Janet has?" Bryce doubtfully asks.
"If Janet gets out then I'm holding you responsible, it will be all your fault," she accuses leaving him shocked and jaw dropped.
