I opened my eyes to a room with darkness stretched far and wide. Something that felt frozen was wrapped around me but I could feel beads of sweat merge on my forehead, forming a trail that joined other trails before sliding down into my clothes. I cast my mind back to the cause of my sweat despite the fact that I was wrapped around in a frozen blanket with limbs – hands secured around my waist, legs tangled in mine and a breath in my ear – and vivid green and violet danced before my eyes. The invisible hands of fear wrapped around my throat as a huge lump of what can best be described as terror started to choke me.
