A knock came on the door just then. I exchanged looks with Clyde but he calmly watches me.
"You need to leave now." I told him and he just nodded. There was something in his eyes when he held mine.
"Is there something wrong?"
"The high landers." He uttered and my eyes widened. "What's that? You were calling it in your sleep."
He looked curious about it and I frowned. Just how long was he in here while I slept?
"I don't think it's any of your business, is it?"
"You're right." He said and when the knock came again, he stood up and went towards the window.
I watched him jump down and heard a slight thud as he landed on the ground. I went ahead to open the door and met the stares of my step sisters.
"What took you so long?" They peered inside the room, their eyes filled with suspicion
