When the Darkness Fades

Sitting on the curb I could hear Kane and the man whispering behind me. Since blacking out I haven’t said much of anything. The pain in my head was still there but it was fading. The scariest thing currently happening though, was as my symptoms began to subside, other things started to fade as well. More specifically - my memories.  “Son, I don’t know how many times I can say this but for as long as I can remember there has never been a Lykaios family that has lived on this block. In fact, the majority of us here all bought around the same time. There have only been one or two families who moved in after us and they are all very much alive and well.” The man was growing annoyed, I could tell by the tone of his voice.  “Yes, sir. I understand. Sorry to have wasted your time,” Kane replied
